The place was perfect...I felt like we were staying in a place right out of a movie....a gorgeous cabin on a lake with divine little turtles playing all day....very cosy and great location with a courtesy bus to town from the Imperial Hotel....will definitely go back for another romantic weekend with my partner..
Eumundi is a small country town, but has all the requirements for a good stay. It has a couple of hotels dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, both of which serve meals. We visited the Imperial Hotel and found the standard of food and service to be excellent. Likewise the Thai restaurant in the town centre. Of course there is the famous Eumundi Market (Wed and Sat). This had just re-opened post-CoVid19 lockdown and we visited on a Wednesday . We are not normally 'market people', but were pleasantly surprised with the range and quality of goods for sale. There was a lovely happy atmosphere and a good attendance (just enabling Social Distancing). We felt that Wednesday was a good day to visit - I imagine that Saturdays will be a little crowded - so get there early! There is a lovely area of parkland, part of which has a strong emphasis on WW1 remembrance. Many trees carry dedications to individual service personnel who lost their lives in that conflict. Eumundi is well placed to enable easy travel eastwards to the Noosa area for sea/surf activities, and westwards to the Kenilworth/Mary Valley area for interesting country drives.
Eumundi is a magical country village with a bohemian vibe, a secret hideaway that comes to life during market days and a Friday evening food market. Just down the road from the amazing “spirit house restaurant” in Yandina and about 20 minutes from bustling Noosa and the quaint villages of montville and Maleny.
For me it was reminiscing as my first born son was delivered in Cooroy so I wanted to go back and have a look at the town which was not far away to travel. I used to be in boarding school and my Dad would pick me up on weekends and we would go to Noosa through Eumundi in the late 60s
A car is essential. Eumundi is exceptionally busy on market mornings but is otherwise a quiet little town. You will want to venture further afield for other attractions. Noosa is only a 20 drive away. Mooloolabah and all points between within 30 mins drive. Countryside is pretty and there was abundant bird life.
Eumundi is a lovely picture postcard location, maintaining small town charm and friendly natives yet has everything that is needed for a 'get away'. The markets are not to be missed, but that is not the only attraction in this town, so stay an extra day or 2 to enjoy all that is on offer here. Joe's Waterhole is a great place to stay and the meals are delicious yet enormous, so nobody is disappointed! The BerkelouW Bookstore next door is a MUST, but leave yourself a good half a day for browsing. And a visit to Eumundi Style for a spot of shopping is well worth it, too with very honestly helpful ladies to outfit even the most tricky of shapes! Then when exhaustion sets in, pop in for a massage with Sandy at Eumundi Massage in the main street to revive body and soul.
Eumundi Guesthouse is a home away from home. Sue and David are incredible hosts who make you feel so welcomed and at home. The breakfast is out of this world and attention to detail 👌 The rooms are immaculate, comfortable with an ambience that is soul warming. I can't wait to go back.
Everything else, the pool is beautiful and great to back to after a long day exploring the wonderful Eumundi area. The room was clean and well set up with bar fridge and tea/coffe facilaties. The staff were friendly and helpful with finding dinner or lunch options.
We had a lovely stay here in Eumundi. The place was very clean and tidy and had all we need for a weekend getaway. Our little french bulldog loved it too. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating.
Lovely place to stay, walking distance to Eumundi markets etc, very clean & owners were friendly & very hospitable. They looked after us from the moment we arrived. Loved our stay!
Beautiful gardens. Loved rural backdrop and position. Five minutes to Eumundi and 20 minutes to everywhere else. Great atmosphere. Enjoyed the farmhouse experience.
Beautiful and stylish room, very clean, lots of space and loved the generous welcome pack and complimentary drinks. Excellent location right in the heart of Eumundi.
Loved the retro feel of the place and the proximitry to Eumundi market, AC in all rooms, clean place, lovely front garden.
Loved the cleanliness and the ease of communication from owner Richard. Highly recommend Eumundi cottage in Town.
Historic, right upstairs from food, coffee and drinks. Comfy beds, great kitchen. Lovely views over Eumundi.
Made you feel at home, nothing too much trouble, they adhere to Covid requirements, clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are terrific and local produce used and include a hot breakfast. Snacks are spread around the comfortable common lounge area, a fridge for any personal items. A lovely swimming pool, pleasant bushland setting and quiet. Three minutes by car to Eumundi restaurants, shops, pub and the Eumundi Markets.
When we arrived we were greeted by Angela holding an umbrella (It was wet) for us. We were given a guided tour and a run down on the facility. Her knowledge about the area, and warmth was extremely appreciated. Our breakfast were fantastic! Our host went out of her way to provide fresh produce. Cannot fault anything! 10/10
