We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the home, it is beautifully decorated and felt homely. I was surprised to see that there is absolutely everything you could need. It was also nice having an outdoor area with a BBQ if you wanted to eat at home.

The accommodation was beautiful and the host was amazing :) We lounged in the pool during the day looking out over the view, watching the birds flit through the trees. We sat out at night and watched a storm roll through the hills across the valley from our spot in the spa pool. Our room was stunning and we had the best sleeps. The delicious pizza from Bella Vista down the road in the Mapleton township was just the ticket to bring back for a movie in the cinema room. Getting to meet the baby kolas Rachel was fostering was a special treat! I so enjoyed our time staying here and it really made our holiday.

The whole experience was one we will truly remember. Montville Country Cabins has become our favorite holiday destination to date. From the generous complimentary condiments, not to mention baked croissants every morning, to the beautiful scenery from every window especially the bed. The abundance of wildlife surrounding you all times of the day, the spa bath, fireplace, bbq and coziness of the cabin was the best spot for relaxing and rejuvenating. Michael and Karen are incredible hosts. We will definitely be back 🙂

Flaxton is in a great spot if you like to hike.

Flaxton is in a great spot if you like to hike. I did the great walk from maleny to gheerullafalls in 3 days. I saw all of the waterfalls in the area too. It's such a magical place if you're keen for an adventure. Try to head up there after heaps of rain because the waterfalls were amazing when I was up there. I had the best trip. Konadilla was my favourite waterfall in the area. All of the hikes were amazing though. The pizza shop at mapelton is so good. It has a great view off the top of the mountain too. I hiked by myself and my trip was amazing.

This is just another of the wonderful villages to visit in this spactacular region. Everyone is just so welcoming. Mapelton Hotel is only a few minutes down the road by car and has the most wonderful views from the large wrap around verandah. Think country hospitality and you have it in abundance. Beautiful mountain scenery and the views are best pic worthy with lots of terrific lookout points. Eumundi markets are a short car ride away and Montville and Maleny are just down the road. Flaxton was a great base for all these places plus Flaxton has its own arts and crafts plus "to die for" Devonshire Teas. This village has it all. Montville hotel (on top of the hill) is a great fun place for lunch , think hot days under canopies with mist sprays. Lots of lovely greenery and friendly interactive staff. Inside reminds us of a European challet hotel.

I travelled to Flaxton for a bushwalk and the location was excellent being 5 minutes from my walk. The property was also located between Mapleton and Montville which made easy access to both these towns. The house was a beautiful historical Queenslander and the grounds were truly lovely. The owner made me feel very welcome and comfortable.

My husband and I were keen for a bit of R&R while visiting family in Flaxton. Mitta Glen met every expectation and more. Our host was the delightful Deana who couldn't do enough for us and made us feel so welcome. We loved everything about our stay. Our room, the views, the food. Phenomenal! Would highly recommend.
