Located alongside Lake Jindabyne, this hotel offers spacious rooms with a balcony. Free WiFi is available in the restaurant and bar. I stayed a couple of days at Lake Jindabyne Hotel. I was riding in from Sydney and due to bad weather, my arrival was delayed by 1 day. I got excellent customer service, with the hotel offering to move my reservation at no extra cost. I thought that was kind and thoughtful. They also are riders themselves so that is quite cool. Overall, a great location for hiking and riding carefree in beautiful mountain roads!
Located opposite Lake Jindabyne, the lively Banjo Paterson Inn offers an on-site brewery, 2 bars, a restaurant and live entertainment. All accommodations features free WiFi access and a 32-inch LCD... The stay was excellent. Banjo staff was very friendly, including the in house restaurant staff. Beautiful view from the hotel balcony and the town centre was right next to Banjo. Will definitely stay here on my next visit.
Alpine Resort Motel is located in an elevated, quiet area of Jindabyne, just a 1-2 minute drive from the center of town. The property offers free, secure on-site parking. Have stayed here 3 x times now in the last 12 months. Always recommend this accomodation.
Located in Jindabyne, 30 minutes’ drive from the Perisher and Thredbo ski fields, Acacia Snowy Motel features a pizza restaurant take away only and guest lounge room. The room was spacious and warm, the bathroom was clean (and the water temperature and pressure were great!), there is a drying room, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Good value for money during the winter season.
Kookaburra Lodge is located in Jindabyne, 5.6 mi from Snowy Mountains. Featuring a sun terrace, this property is set near attractions such as Lake Jindabyne. Really enjoyed our stay. Excellent communal facilities including outdoors BBQ and common room with all kitchen equipment. Less than 5 min walk from supermarket.

Fantastic spot on the lake. Gorgeous outlook. Great bistro and pub. Great place for dinner. Yum food. A few unruly guests with a verbal fight and swearing and loud music and partying. Kept my husband and next room up. I slept through. Maybe not the best for sensitive kids? Beautiful buffet breakfast! Yum. Fill up and not need to buy lunch. Close to shops and other amenities. Possum I’m the roof but this is Australia. Only bad thing was no exhaust fan in the bathroom (stinky with adults eating provided buffet breakfast). Oh and no drying room. But we were ok. Overall a nice stay :) breakfast made it. Thanks chefs :) thanks Jindy hotel x would come back again. Thanks for having us
My actual stay at my the Snowy Valley hotel was awful. The hotel had booked 3 University groups at the same time as a couple of other families. They then proceeded to let them play loud music and slam doors until 11.15pm when I complained the 2nd time and they finally shut it down. Gower, the same happened the next night until ai complained again. Wit h 11 year old child who got no sleep until 12pm on both nights. I would not stay at this hotel ever again.
It is conveneient and close to snowy mountains. A 30 minute drive is easy to mange to the mountains. The accomodation in Jindabyne is way over priced and in the snowy season you really feel ripped off as A. there is no accomodation , B. and the one which is available is usually 3 star motels charging you over 600$ a night for very basic rooms. The dealings of motels what we dealt with was less than ideal.
Great place in Winter as a base for Thredbo and Perisher. Summer sport is great as well. Access to the mountains for hiking, mountain biking, or lake as well. Easy to get around and such a friendly place.
Great town to use as a base camp to access the high country towns, Mt Kozi, and the many activities to do in the area (be it gin tasting or horse riding). There is a couple of different supermarkets to chose from if self catering and a good mix of restaurants and bars if you don't want to cook.
I love the Snowy Mts, and particularly enjoyed walking in the National Park bushlands, walking on the path towards Kosciuszko (don't forget sun protection), and being beside any one of the rivers. It is central and convenient. Can recommend the information centre, the Parc Cafe (next door) and the Italian restaurant, La Famiglia (these both catered to gluten free).
fantastic family run business with the ability to cater for large groups, and isolated sleeping quarters away from common rooms and busy areas. location fantastic near Jindabyne, within walking distances from an array of local venues. The staff are fantastic, incredibly accommodating, and happy to settle any issues immediately. The cooked breakfast the next day was an absolute plus! even though it is a shared bathroom/showering amenities they are clean and easy to use/access. Will stay again.
I was travelling in the Summer season and was hiking Mt Koscuiszko, so the staffing was very light on... but they were efficient with their communication, and the hotel was the cheapest in the area because they don't have staff or the kitchen on in the summer season (it's primarily for the Winter snow season hotel), so costs are low! that being said it was tidy, easy to arrange, paid online, and staff were good. Close to Jindabyne town, and there is plenty of food options there.
Great location on the lake shore and across the road from the main ski hire and restaurant area of Jindabyne. Classic older motel style room with parking right at the door and views of the lake. The room was large and well heated. The bathroom has been modernised. It was very quiet at night. Comfortable beds, good free Wifi. Good breakfasts included. The hotel section has a bistro for an easy dinner.
If you didn't mind driving 15 minutes to Jindabyne to get food, or the dirt road leading to the property, or getting mud into your car from the muddy car park spaces, or lack of any staff onsite, the actual room was fairly clean.
Close to town, walking distance to eating and drinking venues. Staff are excellent. Studio rooms are very small,no view. Very clean well maintained property,Caravan park has beautiful views of lake Jindabyne, lovely walking tracks.
Wonderful views, clean and well appointed apartment. Well located and a walkable (albeit long and uphill on the return) to the lake edge and local shopping centre including restaurants and bakeries.
Jindabyne was great. Location was the best and the hotel was great. Staff in particular were fantastic. The only complaints were a lack of toilet cleaning brush, and tissues. Otherwise very good.
Full Circle Apartments has everything that you need for either your next ski trip or little getaway. In a perfect location and has gorgeous views of the lake. A most stay!
Easy to collect keys with clear instructions sent through prior to arrival. Really comfortable and budget friendly accommodation. I'd definitely stay here again.
Host and workers are welcoming and helpful. It's close to the town centre and also a short drive from the mountains. Tidy and clean room.
Was staying at the bungallow not the townhouses. It has spacius place, neat, comfortable and warm. Would love to spend more holidays there.
The park is located on the main road to ski fields. One of the cheaper options if a bed is all you need.
closed to the centre, room is nice and clean. breakfast is good.
Beds are Very comfy. Friendly staff and good quality food in the restaurant. Simple (however COVID compliant) breakfast included. Room has what you need and great to have a small fridge in the room and luxuriious bath and nice verandah.Great value for money. We would stay again.
The room was spacious and warm, the bathroom was clean (and the water temperature and pressure were great!), there is a drying room, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Good value for money during the winter season.
Just awesome place to stay, pretty flash and the BEST FOOD! absolutely 5 stars from us. The staff are amazing. Thank you Panorama ♥
