Location on the beach is like paradise. The room was excellent - spacious and worth everything you can need - including a washing machine and dryer. The staff were so lovely. The parking was easy. And the proximity to Daintree and all its associated beauty was fabulous. Swimming in the ocean is in a guarded area - which is important because of the crocodile risk!

What a lovely little unit, so many thoughtful touches and the attention to detail was wonderful. Beautiful view from the balcony. We wanted for nothing at this unit. The pool area was beautiful too. All within easy walking distance to pubs, cafes, little supermarkets etc. Right across the road from the beach (with stinger net area as well). Highly recommended.

The surrounding garden's and pool were well cared for. The appartment was spacious and well maintained. There were plenty of little extras in the appartment to make our stay comfortable. The appartment was beautifully decorated and well thought out. They had great locks on the doors and windows. Very secure. 15 min walk to palm cove beach.

Although we got a room without a bath, due to the outdated booking.com's description, the manager Chika promptly responded to our request at after hours, she provided us the perfect apartment instead. The beach is great and tropical, long and sandy just what you would expect. Best really to cook for yourselves in self catering accomodation. Do not expect food like Melbourne in resturants and Melbourne prices. Best take away food is Lucky Fish ( above post office on deck.) the Barramundi is yummmy and fresh, very clean and polite and the local general store on the corner with tables and seats out the front on foot path. Fresh cooked food and smiley staff who are happy to see you.:)

Love the feel of this place it is small enough to not feel...

Love the feel of this place it is small enough to not feel too hectic but has enough eateries and restaurants to suit most budgets. Plenty of accomodation including holiday houses for larger groups. The weather is amazing, perfect for walks, runs, hikes and being generally active. Tour companies will do hotel pick up to take you to various activities. However, we hired a car which opened up different opportunities to travel to Port Douglas and beyond. Cairns night market and sky rail are also a short car trip away.

I really liked that I could walk to everything, didn't use my car all weekend. There is a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars, and a lot of accommodation choices. I had fantastic weather, so it was beautiful views and comfortable clothes. It probably suits an older crowd but kids can still play on the beach, go fishing and I'm sure they have their phones. I'm going back for longer soon.

It is a beautiful spot.

It is a beautiful spot. Somewhere you can just relax and enjoy. The people are very friendly and the location is very clean and you feel very safe there. Rattle and Hum was a great pub right on the beach. Very friendly and the meals were very reasonably priced and very nice.

Loved snorkling the reef and visiting and learning more about Daintree Rainforest. Used the tourist info office on the main strip to book. And the beaches...incredible! You can walk them for miles. I loved it! Palm Cove had all I needed within walking distance: beach, supermarket, shops, restaurants, tour pickups, pool, beachfront yoga, and even tarot card readings. :)

Perfect holiday spot 😃 Cosmopolitan with so many beautiful cafes & restaurants. So much natural beauty to appreciate - the unique Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree Rainforest, Kuranda Railway just to name a few. Even with a month’s holiday you would still be thinking of a return visit to see it all. It truly is a vibrant, beautiful & relaxing holiday destination. Australia has this jewel - let’s keep it natural & not ruin it or over run it with too many tourists. It is perfect just the way it is ❤️
