This place was incredible! We got a free upgrade to a villa and it was stunning. The location was fantastic and the unit itself was beautiful— a lovely design with a gorgeous view. Being able to open our eyes and see the stars through a wall of windows in the middle of the night was a bonus!

The town is small but very accommodating; 2 shopping stores, Reject shop, petrol stations, bottle shop, pub, seafood including locally caught 🦞 lobster.
Lots of local accommodation from van & cabin parks, holiday homes. It is located on the east coast and is a shorter drive from Launceston airport, as Hobart airport is 3hr drive but the roads are excellent.

We stayed to visit mum in the nursing home in St Helens.
We stayed to visit mum in the nursing home in St Helens. We only live one & a half hours drive away and they made us feel most welcomed. We would have liked to stay an extra night and they tried to accommodate us but unfortunately they were fully booked out the following night. Queechy seems to be very popular as I have viewed booking in the past but they have always been booked out.

It is an ideal location to stay for a few days and venture into the interior and other interesting places to visit around the town.
Just don't eat at the RSL. I expected more seafood to be available.
Pick up some tasty take away from the special section at the front of the IGA in the mall.

Lovely town with great eateries.
Lovely town with great eateries. The IGA had a variety of salads, the larger one not the small on main road that offered fresh salads. Great board walk around the water.
The Tasman Holiday park was modern, good facilities, a view of the water and quiet. This was our first ever stay in one and we were impressed with the cabin and the price.

St Helen’s is the central services community for many nearby small holiday hamlets. It has good supermarkets and an excellent provedore plus restaurants and most of the service facilities a holiday maker would need. There are interesting and varied beaches in the area and plenty of boating & fishing for those who enjoy these pursuits. Plenty to like, we did not find anything to dislike.
A surprisingly good stay. We only had 1 night in St Helens but glad we chose this place. It's a 10 minute walk from the centre of town with their shops, restaurants etc. The best restaurant in St Helens is actually part of the hotel but unfortunately was closed the night we stayed.
The room was spacious & the bed comfy. All we needed really.
Such a central location in the middle of St Helens and directly across from the water. There's also a great children's playground across the road and my kids absolutely loved spending time in the pool. The food in the bistro was really tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well presented.
This place was a lot grander that I expected for the price we paid. I liked the layout of the hotel with lobby, sitting areas and different wings. It also had an on-site restaurant. We had a king room with water views and it was beautiful.
