Located in Torquay, a 6-minute walk from Torquay Front Beach, Torquay Hotel/Motel has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a casino. We went to see Pete Murray… we were able to check in, walk 20m to have a DELICIOUS dinner, then walk 20m to see Pete Murray.. and afterwards.. walk the 40m back to our room!! Talk about perfect!!
Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park is a beachfront campground located at the start of the picturesque Great Ocean Road. I like the cosiness of the property and it is clean, tidy and spacious! At first I thought I am going to stay in a caravan but it is actually a cabin with so many facilities like kitchenette and a sofa couch, it even has an oven.I felt so much at home! The hair dryer has it’s wire attached at the bottom and it is not fix to the wall, so u can pull it to your desired length and also and blow your hair at the comfort of your room instead of standing in the toilet. You have a cottage-feel cabin all to yourself and you can park your car right next to it, this really helps in the unloading and loading of our luggages. If you are someone who are particular about the towels, the towels are really clean and have a nice fragrance. The towels passed my wife’s inspection and she used it! The beach is just a few minutes walk away which you can access from the back gate of the property and there is a kiosk at the beach as well. The location is superb, surrounded by restaurants and cafes.
Set in the coastal town of Torquay, Torquay Tropicana Motel features an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and free private parking within a 20-minute walk from Torquay’s patrolled beaches. We arrived in pouring rain after a very long flight and our luggage had not arrived. We were extremely early for check in but this was not a problem at all, we were given an available room for no extra charge. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we felt as comfortable as possible. He also gave us excellent tips for quick trips along the Great Ocean Road. we booked Torquay Motel because of the wonderful reviews and I can agree with them all. What a great start to our holiday, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
Just 0.6 mi from Torquay Main Beach, Ingenia Holidays Torquay offers a solar-heated outdoor pool, a spa and a large variety of sports facilities. We loved all the parks activities for kids/families. The text messages from the office to keep the guests updated on the live music and food trucks. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Torquay is the gateway to the Great Ocean Road. It has great beaches for swimming or surfing and the coastal views are good. The town is well equipped with supermarkets and restaurants. It’s also great to see ageing surfers on the streets.
Good location. Leak in the bathroom that flood the room but changed rooms no bother. All in all what you expect from a motel for that price. Nothing glamorous but clean enough, bed was ok helpful staff.
You need more than one night to explore and enjoy Torquay. Found a few of the restaurants that was advertised in the booklet are now closed . The Italian restaurant was lovely . The strip of surf shops and the outlets were great. Also the Vintage Garage was great to browse through.
The location was very peaceful and an easy drive to a number of attractions in the area. Although there were 3 cottages on the property each cottage was situated in such a way as to provide privacy for the occupants. We loved being able to have our dog (Vincent) stay inside with us and were more than happy to respect the request not to have him in the bedrooms or on the furniture. The wood burning fire was a lovely touch - with a ready supply of cut wood to keep it going. We didn't see the owners, however all email and phone contact was prompt and very pleasant and we look forward to meeting Jacqui and Gavan in person next time. The cottage was cosy, clean and had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing stay. Torquay itself was a relaxed, laid back coastal town with a very friendly vibe and great scenic views as you walked along its Esplanade. Thank you for a lovely stay!
The park was big there was enough room for our van the camp kitchen was well stocked with utensils, tea towels and pots and pan, very clean and tidy. The amenities were clean a spacious loved our night there the beach was so close shops were just outside the park we arrived after closing but worth a mention beautiful location we will be back the start of the great ocean road a must visit .Staff friendly and helpful
Fabulous house, family friendly and very comfortable. Centrally located, easy to walk to the beach and into town area. We hope to return another time. Thank-you for making your house available as is hard to find larger houses for the family to fit in.
So glad the room had a fridge and a microwave; very useful as we were down in Torquay for a running competition. Beds were very comfortable and although the rooms were basic, it wasn't cramped at all. The door off the room into the garden was nice, once again adding to that non cramped feel. Little table was also used. We were after basic and functional and that is what the room offered. Staff were there to answer all questions. Easy check in.
A home amongst the gum trees is near perfect! An amazing place to stay. As a family of 4, we found a great location, immaculately clean, offering an attractive open plan living room, comfortable and spacious bedrooms and bathroom, our host Sarah left goodies and treats that made us feel welcome. Access to swimming pool and spa. Within 8 minutes driving to near Torquay Beach, definitely a place to return!
The location was great, beach across the road, walking distance to Torquay city centre. The house was amazingly well equipped, with tennis racquets, paddle boards, pool table, spa bath, bikes, board games....everything you could need for holidaying with a group of young adults, and the kids and their friends used pretty much everything!
Dawn the lady we dealt with was fabulous, she went above and beyond to help us when it looked like we were not going to be able to attend, offered full refund, then 10 minutes after cancelling were advised we would still be attending, rang Dawn and she sorted it all out. Lovely Hotel and Dawn was wonderful
The 3 bedrooms apartment is amazingly spacious and tye ocean view is truly amazing. The only minus thing is missing microwave for us to use, but other than yhay, location ,view, facilities and neighbourhood are great, especially for family holiday. Will definitely come back for our next trip.
Lovely Room - spacious with a nice view. Huge bathroom and spa bath. Great gym etc facilities. The hotel was in a good location just outside town, probably just about walking distance! Food and waitress' at the restaurant were lovely.
The overall experience at the resort was amazing. From the room to its facilities. The staff made sure the rooms were clean every morning and room service was great even late at night.
