Wyndham Resort Torquay showcases panoramic ocean views on Victoria’s Surf Coast. It is 5 minutes' drive from world famous Bells Beach. The overall experience at the resort was amazing. From the room to its facilities. The staff made sure the rooms were clean every morning and room service was great even late at night.
Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park is a beachfront campground located at the start of the picturesque Great Ocean Road. I like the cosiness of the property and it is clean, tidy and spacious! At first I thought I am going to stay in a caravan but it is actually a cabin with so many facilities like kitchenette and a sofa couch, it even has an oven.I felt so much at home! The hair dryer has it’s wire attached at the bottom and it is not fix to the wall, so u can pull it to your desired length and also and blow your hair at the comfort of your room instead of standing in the toilet. You have a cottage-feel cabin all to yourself and you can park your car right next to it, this really helps in the unloading and loading of our luggages. If you are someone who are particular about the towels, the towels are really clean and have a nice fragrance. The towels passed my wife’s inspection and she used it! The beach is just a few minutes walk away which you can access from the back gate of the property and there is a kiosk at the beach as well. The location is superb, surrounded by restaurants and cafes.

Just 0.6 mi from Torquay Main Beach, Ingenia Holidays Torquay offers a solar-heated outdoor pool, a spa and a large variety of sports facilities. The staff at reception were so friendly. Dough Bro’s Pizza was amazing! The Surf beach was where we spent most time, great surf and easy access. Wyndham Resort was beautiful and great if you want to stay in with 2 pools (outdoor and indoor) and comfy rooms! Everything is close together and easily accessible. Love Torquay!
You need more than one night to explore and enjoy Torquay. Found a few of the restaurants that was advertised in the booklet are now closed . The Italian restaurant was lovely . The strip of surf shops and the outlets were great. Also the Vintage Garage was great to browse through.
The location was very peaceful and an easy drive to a number of attractions in the area. Although there were 3 cottages on the property each cottage was situated in such a way as to provide privacy for the occupants. We loved being able to have our dog (Vincent) stay inside with us and were more than happy to respect the request not to have him in the bedrooms or on the furniture. The wood burning fire was a lovely touch - with a ready supply of cut wood to keep it going. We didn't see the owners, however all email and phone contact was prompt and very pleasant and we look forward to meeting Jacqui and Gavan in person next time. The cottage was cosy, clean and had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing stay. Torquay itself was a relaxed, laid back coastal town with a very friendly vibe and great scenic views as you walked along its Esplanade. Thank you for a lovely stay!
The park was big there was enough room for our van the camp kitchen was well stocked with utensils, tea towels and pots and pan, very clean and tidy. Fabulous house, family friendly and very comfortable. Centrally located, easy to walk to the beach and into town area. We hope to return another time. Thank-you for making your house available as is hard to find larger houses for the family to fit in.
Michael is a great host and took care of our wellbeing, the location of his house is amazing, a quiet area which is perfect to relax but also close to a shopping mall and the beach. The house is spacious and very well set up and decorated, we felt like at home. The area of Torquay is beautiful area to relax and shut down, great hiking locations and an amazing beach. We highly recommend staying at Michael's house as well as in the Torquay area. Looking forward going back there.
The location was great, beach across the road, walking distance to Torquay city centre. The house was amazingly well equipped, with tennis racquets, paddle boards, pool table, spa bath, bikes, board games....everything you could need for holidaying with a group of young adults, and the kids and their friends used pretty much everything!
Very close to beach, restaurants etc. Kitchen has everything you need. Bed in master bedroom was so comfortable, much better than high end hotels. Communication from owners was excellent.
The resort was a super nice, the pool was awesome and staff and extremely friendly! The location is hard to beat since it’s right across from the beach!
Fabulous location and lovely spacious well maintained house. More than enough room for our family - only wish we could have stayed longer!
Beautiful foyer which was more like a gallery than a hotel. Of course the view and have I mentioned the large, luxurious room.
The property was newly renovated and it showed. All the hotel facilities and the room were in top condition.
The location was amazing. Very central to lots of bars and hotels and of course the beach.

A "Wow" experience for our family. Not far from Melbourne centre. Cows, sheep, hourses, chickens, pigs, ducks and stars are just within reach. Nice host and great farm tour. And we love the pet kangaroo who came to visit our cottage in the late evening. Just love it. Highly recommended,
