Wyndham Resort Torquay showcases panoramic ocean views on Victoria’s Surf Coast. It is 5 minutes' drive from world famous Bells Beach. The overall experience at the resort was amazing. From the room to its facilities. The staff made sure the rooms were clean every morning and room service was great even late at night.
Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park is a beachfront campground located at the start of the picturesque Great Ocean Road. The entire park was beautiful, walk to shops and beach walkable distance. The toilets, rooms, beds, and all facilities were so beautifully looked after. My parents loved the cabin and place so badly that they are looking forward to come again. Only
Just 0.6 mi from Torquay Main Beach, Ingenia Holidays Torquay offers a solar-heated outdoor pool, a spa and a large variety of sports facilities. We loved all the parks activities for kids/families. The text messages from the office to keep the guests updated on the live music and food trucks. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Located just a 10-minute walk from Jan Juc Beach, Chianti Cottages offers self-catering accommodations with a garden and a balcony or a patio, with outdoor dining furniture. Everything! It was an awesome experience with the fire place being easy to operate and abundant firewood provide to keep us warm through the day. The interior and exterior of the house matched the photos shown. Hosts were super cooperative. Really amazing experience!
Set in Torquay, just 0.7 mi from Torquay Beach, Zeally Bay Stay Deep Ocean offers accommodations with free bikes, a garden, barbecue facilities and free WiFi. the place feels like a real home, very authentic and we love the additional touches like the piano and board games. only stayed for a night and regret that we werent able to fully experience the house.
Located 2 minutes’ drive from Torquay Beach, The View on Grossmans features free Wi-Fi, a swimming pool and a tennis court. All air conditioned accommodations include a TV. It is away from the main stream of Torquay on the hill behind Jan Juc. Very restful outlook across the fields and trees.

You need more than one night to explore and enjoy Torquay. Found a few of the restaurants that was advertised in the booklet are now closed . The Italian restaurant was lovely . The strip of surf shops and the outlets were great. Also the Vintage Garage was great to browse through.
The location was very peaceful and an easy drive to a number of attractions in the area. Although there were 3 cottages on the property each cottage was situated in such a way as to provide privacy for the occupants. We loved being able to have our dog (Vincent) stay inside with us and were more than happy to respect the request not to have him in the bedrooms or on the furniture. The wood burning fire was a lovely touch - with a ready supply of cut wood to keep it going. We didn't see the owners, however all email and phone contact was prompt and very pleasant and we look forward to meeting Jacqui and Gavan in person next time. The cottage was cosy, clean and had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing stay. Torquay itself was a relaxed, laid back coastal town with a very friendly vibe and great scenic views as you walked along its Esplanade. Thank you for a lovely stay!
The park was big there was enough room for our van the camp kitchen was well stocked with utensils, tea towels and pots and pan, very clean and tidy. The amenities were clean a spacious loved our night there the beach was so close shops were just outside the park we arrived after closing but worth a mention beautiful location we will be back the start of the great ocean road a must visit .Staff friendly and helpful
Fabulous house, family friendly and very comfortable. Centrally located, easy to walk to the beach and into town area. We hope to return another time. Thank-you for making your house available as is hard to find larger houses for the family to fit in.
We went for a gig which just happened to be at this hotel. It was perfect for an afternoon of drinks before the gig. The food was pretty good also, quite unexpected and I can highly recommend the passionfruit cocktail.
Amazing cafe, The Salty Dog, located right on the actual beachfront on Fishermans Beach. We found (in Jan 2022) the temperature was perfect, however it was windy in the afternoons moreso than the mornings, meaning (for us) it was better to get the majority of the beaching done in the AM. Super easy to walk into/around town. There is a Woolworths, Coles and an IGA within a 3min walk from the radius of the main street/beachfront intersection. Amazing Japanese food at the Funky Ninja, if you are after quick takeaway sushi/hot snack food (i.e dim sim, spring rolls, honey chicken skewer, etc.), to a full service restaurant with lovely staff. Just a tip, during peak seasons either book early in advance at any of the popular restaurants, or be prepared to wait a while, or order takeaway. Plenty of good walking paths alongside the beachfront and the esplanade for a post dinner stroll with your icecream. The local drivers almost always stopped for you to cross the road, even when they had the right of way. This of course changed as the weekend travellers/daytrippers started appearing though so keep your wits around road safety from Fri-Sun. Oh, and we had the best almond croissant from Morta Deli located down a little alleyway off Gilbert St (the main street)
We arrived in pouring rain after a very long flight and our luggage had not arrived. We were extremely early for check in but this was not a problem at all, we were given an available room for no extra charge. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we felt as comfortable as possible. He also gave us excellent tips for quick trips along the Great Ocean Road. we booked Torquay Motel because of the wonderful reviews and I can agree with them all. What a great start to our holiday, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
RACV Torquay is a very nice resort with great facilities. Room was clean, so were all the common areas and restrooms. Couldn’t rate highly enough about their customer service. We were traveling with an one year old, the staff were very accommodating to our needs. Been to several 5 stars hotels/ resorts, RACV Torquay is one of the best.
The house was clean, cool and comfy. We enjoyed the big open space upstairs. We did not need aircon. The outdoor seating was clean and comfy and had a nice quiet view of the canal. Kitchen was well-appointed. We enjoyed the tennis court. Staff kindly returned our charger to us that we left behind.
Clean, spacious and well-appointed townhouse, right on the peaceful links of The Sands. Great little home base for our Torquay holiday. Brilliant double-sized shower, and a neat little courtyard out back
The room was lovely and clean and convenient to everything that my daughter and I needed. Given that it was Hotel accommodation it was so very quite. Intend to stay again. Total value for money.
Very close to beach, restaurants etc. Kitchen has everything you need. Bed in master bedroom was so comfortable, much better than high end hotels. Communication from owners was excellent.
Within the hotel complex, table tennis and kids room to keep the little ones busy. Front beach restaurant / cafe, excellent food out on the main esplanade drag.....
Was in a great location and was well fitted out for our family. The yard was very disappointing as was so overgrown with spider webs on everything!
My mother and I found it very relaxing. The rest of the family were out and about enjoying everything Torquay has to offer.
The location was amazing. Very central to lots of bars and hotels and of course the beach.
Great location for walking to everything. Comfortable and great set up for our family.
I like the rooms as well as everything being so close to the resort.
This hotel is in a great location and has excellent potential.
Loved the location. Perfect for a family with pets
location and house were excellent.
A "Wow" experience for our family. Not far from Melbourne centre. Cows, sheep, hourses, chickens, pigs, ducks and stars are just within reach. Nice host and great farm tour. And we love the pet kangaroo who came to visit our cottage in the late evening. Just love it. Highly recommended,
We loved all the parks activities for kids/families. The text messages from the office to keep the guests updated on the live music and food trucks. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The beds were so comfy. Beautiful kitchen, super close to the supermarkets!
