Just a 2-minute drive from the Yarra River, Warburton Holiday House is a 3-bedroom, self-contained holiday house. The house features a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony with lovely views. The location of the house is absolutely adorable surrounded by the nature. The view from the property is amazing. Located in Warburton, Warburton Digs has air-conditioned accommodations with a balcony and free WiFi. Spotless. So much space for a group of tired travellers to spread out and relax. Everything we needed was there. Great textures and colours through the property.
The location of this property was excellent. It is very close to town and walking tracks. The house has magnificent views. It was large, clean, comfortable and as presented on site. The owners were very responsive and informative at all times. They allowed us an earlier check in which was very much appreciated. Would come back again!
Warburton is a very beautiful area with a varied amount of interestings historical areas to visit. I think more money by the local council to improve areas and also walking areas for local and tourists to visit. More cheaper end of accommodation to be encouraged. I would return to see more of the area The bike trail Lilydale to Warburton is well worth doing and there are plenty of stops along the way such as cafes and places to take in the views ! I would like to see the Warburton area kept neater and tidier i.e. mowing of lawns; more planting of native and indigenous plants, flowers etc. Better street lighting at night as I had to walk back to accommodation and the back streets had no lighting.
No walking trails around the property but short drive into town and lovely walk along the river. A great visit to the Redwood Forest and to a winery for special lunch. Property access is very difficult both for parking and for walking as driveway, big rocks and gravel steep steps are hazardous.
Stayed here a few times , always a nice place to go , people are very friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to shops pub and eateries. Really enjoy the river walk and crossing over the 7 bridges.
The area was so peaceful and if you're looking for a place to switch off from city life, I would certainly recommend the area. You can either bike down the trainline or walk along the river, depending on mood/fitness level and there are a nice couple of cafes to check out at the end - not to mention the wineries that are a short drive away. We stayed here whilst we attended a show at Rochford Winery and found it very easy to come back and forth from.
Pretty town. If you love outdoors and nature this is the place to go. Redwood Forest and Yarra State Forest was good. Road to Ada tree is unsealed but worth the drive and walk. La la falls was a nice walk but a little steep. The only downside was that there aren’t enough food options in the town centre. The pizza shop was good.
This little cottage was so cosy and welcoming, thank you to your staff for taking such care in preparing it for our arrival, it was spotless. We were very impressed by the many thoughtful details, such as milk, juice, and bacon and eggs in the fridge, complimentary red wine and chocolates on the table, and even a decanter of Port on the mantle! The garden surrounding the Spa was lush and very private, apart from a few friendly cockatoos. Just a short drive from Melbourne, and we felt completely immersed in the nature, it was lovely. Thank you!
Oscars on Yarra was a surprise for us! The facilities were clean and premises were well kept. The location is spectacular! I loved the deck area!! The host- Christine and her family were exceptional in accomodating our requests and in general beautiful human beings. I would highly recommend this hidden gem for those seeking an authentic experience of Warburton...this property delivers!!
It's not very often i can say that an overnight stop in a motel results in me sleeping in until 8.30pm. The room was comfortable and the bed moreso. I really liked the view out my window of the garden with the ferns etc. Also noting that after travelling for 9 days, this was the first motel to provide USB ports in the powerpoints at the bed.
Fantastic home-cooked breakfast by Steven. Both Kim and Steven were very welcoming and have a beautiful house. There were lots of wild birds that come to the front deck to be fed. Location is great. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Warburton.
Alan the owner was absolutely brilliant, very accommodating and helpful. Absolutely bequtofyo property and gardens. I'd you're expecting hundreds of years 9ld retro lodge experience, you won't be disappointed
The view was magnificent and location was excellent just a few minutes from shops and the river. It is a great house for family/groups with central living spaces and plenty of room.
WiFi (as the hills have poor to no service as a rule) Great views, walking distance to town, rocking chair, BBQ, yard for kids to play Close to golf course and tennis courts
Great location, good breakfast and lovely spa.
