Staff is friendly.
Breakfast is simple, but good: there were fruits, ham, cheese, sausages and vegetables, a few days there were croissants, there was also bread, juice and coffee.
The hotel is easy to find, though at first the entrance at night is not obvious, the first night I had to go through a parking lot to get to the entrance.

Fabulous city, much to give, friendly people, take time out for coffee and joining the locals! Off the beaten track are hidden gems, but moments need to be reflected with the Sarajevo Roses, Markale Memorial, and War childhood museum. Embrace the bad as well as the good, it’s all part of the city. MeetBosnia a great tour agent, source of info and highly recommend for everything.

Churches, mosques, museums, cable car, lovely old town, modern shopping centres, promenade by the river, lots of history, great restaurants (lots of halal food for the people looking for that), quaint cafes, relaxed atmosphere, good feeling of being in a safe place, not an expensive place to visit.

Sarajevo's an incredible, unique city that everyone should visit. I've spent time there almost every year since 2016. It's where East and West meet, blend, meld and harmonise, and it drips with history. Go to Gallerija 11/07/95 and watch the film Miss Sarajevo (30 mins), which plays on a loop at the back of the gallery.

Beautiful city, with so much history.
Beautiful city, with so much history. The people we met were friendly and helpful. Our favorite restaurant we visited was the House of Spite and we would definitely recommend taking the cable car up into the Trebevic Mountains.

Interesting city.
Interesting city. Do go up to the Hotel Delux near the flame as great views of over the city. I met loads of lovely people. Free guided tour with Adis was very good and the tour with Emir through Viator was superb as it was a 12 hour tour to various places. Mostar is an absolute must. Do not miss it. Churches and synagogue not always open so check times. Amazing scarves and their shoes are the best I have ever seen and the most expensive but great shops in the new part between the line on cultures and the flame. Think it is a city I will go back to.

Mosques and churchs are not welcoming visitors.
Mosques and churchs are not welcoming visitors. I don't know why.
I can understand people needs to pray daily. But would be better if they can have clear instructions for visitors about when to visit and would be really glad if we can get into the building.
The hostess Valida gave us a very warm welcome. We immediately felt very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. There were Bosnian specialties and other dishes. The rooms are cozy and very clean. From the hotel you can get to the old town very quickly and many restaurants, supermarkets and sights are nearby. Valida knows everything about Sarajevo and can really answer any question and give lots of tips. I would recommend it to everyone and come back to Guesthouse Halvat.
The Staff was super Friendly and Helpfull. They tried their best to teach me some Bosnian. Also wenn I changed my booking, no Problem at all.
Free Big Towel and Breakfast(small, but hey, better than nothing) included.
Also Bunk beds are super solide and don't make Sound nor moving when You turn around.
And the Location. Perfect. 5 min to the Main attractions.
There were private breakfasts with a private chef, just for me. A strong Bosnian breakfast for a long day. Breakfast is served in the basement, in the restaurant, but I had it more than once in the cafe, well served, chatting with people.
Very private parking free parking I like a lot.
Hotel position is minutes walk from Iliđa center.
A very nice experience, the place is elegant and luxurious, the view is beautiful, everything you need is available in the hotel apartments, you rate it Seven Star. Dealing with them is very nice and smooth. They were fine in dealing. I hope anyone who travels to Bosnia will try this hotel apartment. Thank you.
The only good thing about this place it’s location, in the heart of old town. However, it’s not worth the money, there are better hotels in the city center for less money, if you book in advance.
