Steeped in history, the hotel is an oasis of calm amongst the bustling streets of Nassau. The restaurant and lounge is sophisticated and cool particularly if the pianist is playing. The suites are spacious and comfortable and the outside area is shady by the mosaic pool. The wine choice is exceptional. They have more than 290000 bottles of wine including the oldest known drinkable bottle for sale for $200,000. The owner can tell a tale or two about some of the legends who have stayed there in the past including Paul Newman, Bill Clinton Jay Z and Beyonze, Maria Carey and so on. Legend has it that the famous cigar that Bill Clinton and Monica shared came from here.

Our room was beautiful, lovely wooden floor and a huge balcony. Chris met us on arrival and checked us in and he couldn't have been more heplful to us. We were having difficultly with our phones and he very kindly contacted the driver who was to pick us up the next day for a day trip , to confirm the pick up time. We met Shanique the following day and she was just as kind and helpful.

This is an excellent choice of accommodation. It is a small apartment, beautiful furnishings, comfortable, quiet, relaxing, convenient. It's like a little piece of home comfort while you are travelling. Next visit I will stay 2 nights to break my trip and recover from long flights.
