Hotels near Iskut

It was the right distance for a travellor. I was not on holiday so just trying to make miles. Restaurant was good food and the place was right beside the highway so easy access. I will stay again if possible.

Great place to get gas, and food. The country store had necessities plus a little bit more, at reasonable price points. Newer self service pumps. The Local stop signs delighted us. They were written in the language of local first nations people. New buildings and family centers. Seems to be a vibrant family area, growing to meet the needs of the people. The people were open and welcoming. They even approached, and chatted with us while we ate. The cafe served fresh cut frech fries, and hand formed hamburgers. A quality that is rare to find anymore. We were quite pleased with our lunch, and interactions with the local people. They made our day, filled our stomachs, and our gas tank. Listening to the “aunties” giggle at the table behind us really made us smile. We were American, and they didn't hold it against us.
