Our family of four stayed only one night, but we absolutely loved this location and property. We watched a family of bald eagles hunt in the straight right behind our balcony, and witnessing the fog roll in and out was breath taking. Every detail was accounted for, and my son especially loved the soda stream machine! We were a very short distance from Botany Bay, and there were many cute eateries in Renfrew. We could walk to get coffee! We wish we could have stayed longer. The sofa bed was very comfortable, and the king sized bed and tub were divine after long chilly hikes on the beach. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus after traveling like nomads for two weeks. The entire community was having wifi/cable issues, so make sure that you download all instructions/maps/itineraries before you get there, and screen shot the code to get into the property! I won’t even knock off a star for that because the whole point of going to places like Renfrew is to get away from it all. We achieved just that.

Port Renfrew is awesome and strikes a pretty good balance...

Port Renfrew is awesome and strikes a pretty good balance between being a remote(ish) "get away from it all" place to escape while still being connected and accessible. After a day spent exploring the many trails, lakes or beaches the pub is a great place to unwind and enjoy a couple pints and a good meal. Be sure to drive the Pacific Marine Circle route for the full experience!

Beautiful cottage with exceptional views on the ocean.

Beautiful cottage with exceptional views on the ocean. Beds were so comfortable and the outside fire pit was just the finishing touch. Having a kitchen was great and very convenient. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and looking forward to our next visit.

Port Renfrew is a charming little fishing village on the west coast. I’ve visited twice now and absolutely love its character and natural beauty. That said, it’s important for visitors to know that amenities are limited—stores and restaurants close early, so planning ahead is essential. What I enjoy most is the quiet simplicity of the area, but if you’re looking for a destination full of conveniences and entertainment, this may not be the place for you. On the other hand, I can see a small bike or scooter rental shop doing very well here—it would be a wonderful addition to the village.

Port Renfrew is really Wild.

Port Renfrew is really Wild. You feel like you are at the end of the earth.. which you are. There is no going father in BC on this road. They are a close knit community and watch out for each other.. which is good and 'a little too much'. Not quite as friendly as other Vancouver Island towns but it sure is isolated... Be prepared for looooooong winding Roads, cold weather and rain. Some good eats but nothing on the water. Worth a visit and I do admire the people who live there! Thank you PR for the stay!

Port Renfrew and surroundings are absolutely amazing.

Port Renfrew and surroundings are absolutely amazing. Close proximity to Botanical Beach, Botany Bay, Sombrio Beach, Fairy & Lizard Lakes, Avator Grove, and Big Lonely Doug. It's also the starting off point for the West Coast Trail and Juan de Fuca Trail. Port Renfrew has fabulous coffee shops and the Port Renfrew Pub is not to be missed.

It was an ideal stop - we could have stayed another day but...

It was an ideal stop - we could have stayed another day but our itinerary was calling. The cafe opposite the Hiker Hut was great in the morning for a coffee and we ate at Bridgeman's on the waterfront - a fabulous view. We were driving but a v popular spot for hikers for the start and end of the trail. Botanical Beach and Botany Bay a must visit

The cabin was clean & cozy, the location was perfect! its close to the beach, hikes & restaurants. The cabin also offers view of the ocean from the balcony . The owners were also lovely & were very informative with all the things to do in & around the port renfrew area! My favorite part was the hot tub it was a big plus after a long day at the beach ! Would most definitely recommend & will be back!

We had a lovely couple of nights in Port Renfrew on a road journey from Victoria. The Cottage was very clean, it had a spectacular view and had all the facilities that we required. The Host was also very easy to communicate with which makes things easy when you are an international visitor.
