The interiors of the entire place were exceptional and modern. The place has been tastefully renovated and upgraded to meet the modern vibe!! The open kitchen is something which makes this a better option than B&Bs!!! The rooms and bathrooms were clean, well stocked and they also had a blow dryer and laundry machine installed for use. Its a home away from home.

A good location for a stress-free stay in Saint-Paulin, Aux Berges du lac Castor is a luxury tent surrounded by views of the mountain.

I had such a great stay at Lac Castor! My hut was right on the lake and was well stocked with firewood and cooking utensils. It was a little more off-grid than I expected. It seems as though the huts lighting works from solar power only so the lights did start to cut out in the evening, there isn't much/any cell service and there weren't outlets to be able to charge my phone. The communal toilets however did have working outlets that could be used. But I would 100% stay here again! The site is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Being able to take a canoe out onto the lake at sunset was just magic! And the staff are so friendly. I would highly recommend staying here!

The place is so beautiful and the food wow:) Missing just an Adirondack chair on the patio, to take the coffee outside and take time to just admire the beauty of the landscape.

Hosts work hard to provide lots of personal touches and extras (air fryer, popcorn popper, essential oils, spices, cooking oil and more). Quiet. Hot tub, sauna, and washing machine. Bistro on premises. Food truck next door. Comfortable bed. The walking and biking parks nearby (Recreo Forestier and National Parc Mauricie) are beautiful.

We booked the Chalet 'Hirondelle' for 8 persons (2 families). The appartment was perfect: all amenities, from fully fitted kitchen to barbecue, and wood for the outdoor fireplace. Excellent reception with the owners / managers. Great location to relax and enjoy the woods!
