I can’t express how grateful we are for the incredible hospitality we experienced at this hotel. We arrived drenched from a heavy rain and asked for an early check-in. Despite the odd hour and no staff being physically present at the hotel, they went above and beyond to find a solution and ensure we received our keys without any hassle, and it was all free of charge! Our situation didn’t end there—every piece of clothing we had was soaked. The hotel personnel were absolute lifesavers, taking all our wet garments and putting them into a drying machine. This kind gesture was just what we needed after such a rough start to our day. As if that wasn’t enough, we were sitting in our room with no dry clothes when the hotel staff brought us a pan full of hot tomato soup. It was incredibly delicious, rich with herbs, and it warmed us right up. This thoughtful touch truly made our stay unforgettable. Considering the extremely low price of our stay, we expected something really simple and maybe even a bit shabby. However, it was completely the opposite! The service and amenities were outstanding. We can’t recommend this hotel enough. Their attention to detail and dedication to guest comfort is unparalleled. Thank you for turning a miserable day into a memorable stay!

It is very simple and quirky but clean

This was a self check in hotel and the process was very easy The room had everything needed and was clean and modern We liked that it even included wine and Prosecco glasses- a nice touch There was also a fridge with a bottle of water

Family friendly. Easter activities were really good! Easter breakfast, more hotels need to do the same. Great for toddlers and children with lots of fun in the close by swimming pool waterpark.

The room was spacious, there was AC that worked perfectly, a great shower, the bed super comfortable - the best sleep I've had during my week's travel across Switzerland. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection. The location was very convenient, right next to the train station and a quick walk from the old town.

The location is perfect in the heart of St. Gallen. The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The breakfast is a highlight for sure and the fitness space is also very unique.

The service at the front desk was polite and reliable. It was nice that the room was spacious and clean despite its old appearance. The contents of the minibar were also cold.

Lovely, cozy, and very charming hotel. It is next to the train station so it’s perfect as a base for the amazing hiking routes nearby. We loved the breakfast too!

Hotel DOM offers 5 studios, which are small apartments. They are located on the 4th floor of a tenement house located 250 meters from the main train station in St. Gallen (you can easily get around on foot, even with large luggage), 600 meters from the cathedral and 850 meters from the Kunstmuseum. There is an elevator in the building. The studio I was in (No. 1) was cozy and adequate to my needs. The kitchen is equipped with appliances enabling you to prepare your own meals (small oven, induction hob, pots, pans, electric kettle, coffee maker, small fridge). The bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer. The area is quiet and peaceful. There is a lovely view from the windows. The studios are definitely an offer aimed at people traveling alone.

The room is clean, big, with great view. The shower is also big, soaps & slippers are provided. Also Nespresso and teas. We had dinner in the adjacent restaurant, it was really good!

the staff we’re amazing! from the gentleman at the restaurant, the lovely chef to the ladies at reception, extremely kind and caring staff would most definitely stay again.
