My name is Michael Lucas, Tatyana is my wife, we came to the hotel from Miami to celebrate a New Year's Eve 2023. We had an unbelievable time. Nicolas Muller - the hotel's food and beverage manager, organized for the guest's of the hotel a fantastic, high quality New Year's Eve party in the rooftop hotel restaurant overlooking the magnificent lake Neuchatel! Though we did not have a reservation for the New Year's Eve celebration which had all been sold out, he managed to accommodate us as well. Nicolas Muller's professionalism has no limits or boundaries, Nicolas is a detail-oriented high-professional with top skills in hospitality management. He can make people happy even in unpredictable situations. Comfortable bed(s). Large shower room with hand/hair/body wash. Balcony with lake view (did pay extra for balcony room) was great to sit out on. Friendly and courteous staff - reception and cleaners and at breakfast. My birthday was during the stay - lovely touch of food and drink in the room when came back that evening! Very good location for the lake, museums, park and places to eat and drink.

I went there on a Saturday night so the price should have been higher in comparison to the other nights, however, I felt that it was more expensive than it should be. The location is great and it's close to the lake and the city center. As a three star hotel is good.

It is not touched by mass tourism, not yet. It was an Amarcord thing for me, to re-visit the place where I used to live as a student in my twenties. Lots of changes, I liked the old Swiss style. Charming restaurants, plenty of café. Very good but extremely expensive train system, buy your tickets well in advance.
Beautiful town situated next to a beautiful Lake. They had a beautiful fresh produce market on Saturday. It’s easy to get around, by bus, bike or on foot. Eating out can be expensive. There are plenty of shops nearby to buy Food etc.
The lakeside walk is beautiful, with Alps on the far side. The architecture of the old Town is beautiful. There are grocery stores, pharmacies, gift shops, dress shops, cheese shops, chocolate shops, cafés and restaurants within very easy walking distance everywhere between the lake and the famous Collegiale where Reformer William Farrell once preached. The central Marché is an especially picturesque spot for a coffee or a meal at one of its many cafés. There is a funicular to Chaumont and its charming Petite Hotel which serves excellent food. Next to it is a zip line fun park for kids and playground for littles. The Neuchâtel museum is worth a visit. 2 lakeside restaurants with outside eating are great: Beau Rivage and Waves. Boats to other towns around the 3 lakes are fun and easy to book.
Breakfast was great. Coffee in rooms was great. Sixth floor room/attic was horrible. Can’t stand up in 1/3 of the room, portable AC loud and vented through opening in the roof (let’s hot air in). Terrible room. Other five floors looked lovely. This was not a double. It was a mini double
Hotel near the lake and the museum of fine arts. Finding a parking place was difficult when we arrived. Having a room just next to the breakfast restaurant is no ideal in the morning. Tourist discounts are useful.
If you like a small town feel without the tourist trap feeling than this place is for you. Plenty of places to see and eat. Bus or short train trip will get you around to places including neighboring towns. Beautiful lake, lots of parks for peaceful walks. The saturday market in the center of town is fun to stroll through and stopping into the many specialty shops around town can take days.
Neuchâtel
Well located, modern inn, with a spacious room and a nice private bathroom (we rented the room with a private bath on the second floor). Mere steps from the action but with a more local feel. The Neuchátel tourist card awaited us on the bed so we did not need to ask for it. Coffee and tea are included, available in the room where they otherwise serve breakfast in the morning (which we did not try). Had everything we needed. Nice little pizzeria (Colonia Libera Italiana) on the street right behind it.
My second time staying in this hotel when going to the office. I love my room and the sound of the small river outside of it. Its a nice and cozy place, good breakfast, friendly stuff. Well equipped bathroom with all thats needed. Walking distance to city center of Neuchatel. I will stay again :) Free parking outside is a huge bonus.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was good. Nice lakeview from the hotel terrace. Short walking distance to the beach and to the "happening" places. Parking was conveniently on-site. Many good restaurants nearby. The restaurant at the hotel looked good - would have tried it if we had more time.
The hotel is quite comfortable, close to the city center, 10 min. walk from the train station. The room was clean, equipped with coffee machine. The weather was hot, what is not usual in Swiss, so there is no air conditioning in the room, although a high performance fan was there.
The location is perfect to visit Neuchatel. The rooms are very quiet. There was a huge party close-by and I was really scared I would not sleep but the windows are incredibly good to isolate from the noise.
I like the room it’s so clean and I recommend . Suisse hotel is best for me the quality is perfect !
A hotel in the grand tradition. Tasteful decor. Excellent service. Great restaurant.
More like a youth hostel than a hotel, very dated, not particularly clean
Ambience (hotel and direct vicinity)
Nice little square and quirky hotel.
