Located in the heart of Zuoz, a very nice historic hotel. The room is a bit old but very comfy with traditional Swiss decoration. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The property is very clean and the staff are so nice and they were very helpful. The hotel is equipped with great facilities. It was an exceptional experience.

The breakfast was simple but delicious. The breads were all amazing and the coffee was excellent. They had a room to store bikes overnight.

Incredible view. This just can't be beat. And the bottom of the funicular is very conveniently located next to a bus stop and two train stations, and a wonderful trail to Lake Staz.

We had dinner in the restaurant. The meal was very good as were the staff. The room was a little small, but we were only there for one night, so it was fine. It was raining when we were there, so we did not get to enjoy the balcony. If it had not been raining, the balcony would have been a pleasant addition. Very close to the train station. We stayed here in order to catch the Glacier Express the next morning; one train stop away. Saved money on the hotel night, St. Moritz vs. Celerina.

This was a truly special experience. Staff were super friendly, personable and professional! Facilitis first class in very detail. Beakfast experince was next level. Would love to return if ever in the St. Moritz area again.

This was a great bargain and the staff was exceptional. It was so refreshing to stay in Celerina vs. St. Moritz. We also attending the free breakfast and ate dinner there one night. Complements to the chef and kitchen staff.

The hotel is brand new, having opened on 20 December 2025, and it truly shows. Everything felt fresh, modern, and impeccably clean, with excellent amenities throughout. The gym was outstanding, and the inviting living room area featured comfortable, chic couches, games to enjoy, and a great selection of books. The room was spacious, stylish, and very well maintained, offering modern comforts and a high level of cleanliness. Free parking conveniently located right in front of the entrance was an added bonus and made the stay even more convenient.

The hotel is 500 year old and beautiful

The rooms are very comfortable and extremely clean. Location quiet and convenient to excellent hiking and sight seeing, and the village is charming and has 2 excellent restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. We felt at home in this hotel, and loved coming back after hiking and exploring in the area. Good value.

While the property itself has historic charm (as the name suggests), it’s immaculately maintained. You can feel the pride and respect that the staff have for both their work and their guests — it brings the whole place to life in a unique way. Our room (an executive suite) was spotless, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. We were even welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine from the hotel director — a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly valued. Breakfast was generous and satisfying, and having convenient parking right at the hotel entrance was a big plus. A special mention must go to Vironica — the extraordinary woman who manages the restaurants. Her warmth, energy, and top-tier service elevated our entire experience. She brought a personal touch to every meal, and her joyful presence made each interaction a delight. The pizza we had at the hotel’s pizzeria? Quite possibly the best we’ve ever tasted — absolutely unforgettable. The location couldn’t be more perfect — just a 6-minute drive to St. Moritz, surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery, lakes, and postcard-worthy views in every direction. Hotel Bernina isn’t just a place to stay — it’s the reason we’ll be coming back to this region again, perhaps in the winter next time. A truly special experience.

I had a short last minute stay in Samedan due to a family emergency. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I booked the simplest room, but it had everything I needed. I had dinner in the wine bar and it was also excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone
