The view from the hotel rooms and from the restaurant was amazing. The service was great and the food at the restaurant both breakfast and dinner was fresh and delicious. European standards and Swiss specialties, something for everyone. The hotel location was excellent, we were able to access many beautiful hiking trails by foot.

The nicely designed and spacious rooms, former parts of a textile factory, are a great place to rest and to make a small walk to the breathtaking views of the Walensee, specially from.this side of the lake. Taking a swim at the lake from the beach side, next to the camping, with the views of the more than 2.000 metres high mountains right in front of you, super steep, is an amazing experience. The staff at the hotel was extra nice and made us feel great at the facilities. The gym is also nice, which you can access from 8 am to 9 pm in the building in front, entrance D. We didn't take the breakfast because we had still a lot of stuff from our road trip, but it looked really good. I also.appreciated the Rituals soap and.shampoo that are supplied in the bathroom, nice touch. And there is also a shared terrace at the first floor, with all lofts, that we used to have dinner with our daughter and observe the mountains, great. In the lofts, both beds are comfortable and spacious, it was really relaxing to spend time at that loft with high ceilings, nice design and comfortable and big beds. I would definitely stay here again if we plan a trip to the Swiss Alps.

Weesen is a scenic town on the one end of Walensee Lake.

Weesen is a scenic town on the one end of Walensee Lake. It has a lovely quaint calm atmosphere. There are playgrounds with beautiful views, boats to tour the area and a small town to wander through. It can get very busy on a hot summers day, so I would recommend an overnight stay where you can get to enjoy it's calmness once the crowds have left for the day. We had a picnic with take away pizza's one summer's evening and the town charmed us with her views and aura.

Nice small lake with a water jet, just like in Geneva, but in miniature, swans and ducks; nice waterfront promenades, big parking available in front of main square with nice restaurants; town surrounded by mountains, nice photos to take

It's located at the lake side with beautiful views, there's a ferry stop there, in close distance there's nice place to sunbath, swim and sup in Lago Mio, really food restaurant in parkhotel schwert. There are several wanderweg & mountain trails from Weesen or Amden, you can also use bus & train to got to the other (really lovely) side of the lake or near Glarus or Klontalersee. Buses run every 30 minuts and link with train in Ziegelbrucke.

Breathtaking view of the lake with direct access to take a dip. The hotel is in an antique very well kept building that gives the place a lot of cachet and charm. Don’t be put off by the shared toilets, they are super clean, not busy and quite cute!! The hotel is extremely clean. The food is delicious. The staff is welcoming.

Great location at the Walensee. The rooms were cozy; hotel and rooms are carefully renovated, preserving the original nice atmosphere. The restaurant is also very nice, with rather home-style but excellent, freshly prepared food. The service was very friendly and helpful.
