We just had a 6 hr. flight and a terrible experience with the Holliday Inn Santiago airport that took my reservation (and charged my card) but when we got to the hotel they said they didn't any reservation and also were sold out. The only thing friendly about the receptionist was to tell us to go to the Hilton Garden Inn that proved to be a great place when we arrived after midnight!

The bedroom was clean. Quiet. Outside in at the front desk and region to eat---it was a mess! I stayed to have breakfast. I was asked to move for another customer to eat. Just unfriendly and very disorganized. Wet floors. It was like a free-for ==all to get your meal. Under-staffed.

Location. Really easy to get around Santiago. Don't stay here unless you speak spanish and can blend into the area well. This is not for tourists. The Security staff was great, they were very helpful and kind. They kept us from making any bad mistakes that could have gotten us hurt or worse.
