LN Garden Hotel, Guangzhou is the first landmark 5-star luxury hotel, it showcases a perfect blend of Cantonese heritage and contemporary sophistication. A charming hotel. The customer service was superb. Many good English speakers and all staff I met were eager to make sure I was happy. The room was an apartment and consisted of a very clean spacious set of rooms, the decor of which was a quirky mixture of Western and Chinese. There was even an exercise bike in the study area! The bathroom was very nice, - airy, large and with a deep bath. The lighting was noticeably good, consisting of many spotlights but also an overhead light. So a brightly-lit room was possible. Room service was prompt. I particularly liked the garden and pond area, where there was outdoor seating with a bar and live music. The reception area is very elegant, with a large wall mural and many shops. There are also several members of staff at the entrance to help you and fast moving and easy access to taxis. Good location too.
