Angie was so welcoming when we arrived. She provided us a tour of the property and pointed out some of the sounds we were hearing and mammals and birds we saw. Rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious with beautiful large bathrooms and walk-in showers. Plus lovely tropical setting to sit on our covered verandas including hammocks!

Beautiful cabin close to Bagaces. We love to see the Congo Monkeys on his natural environment. Totally pet friendly this was a deal breaker for me and my family.

We enjoyed the pool, and the staff were very helpful in guiding my wife and I on how to take the bus to Liberia. The Pumas sanctuary next door was a fun thing to do in the afternoon, if you get lucky you may see the large male jaguar.

I LOVED everything about this place! Location was secluded, private and gorgeous and yet close enough to town, national parks and other attractions. You are surrounded by nature so beautiful sunrises and sunsets, butterflies are everywhere, hummingbirds come visit as well as many other beautiful birds. We got to feed and connect with the horses that wondered into the property, WOW! Our host Joe is truly one of a kind, he poured his heart into our experience, he took us to a nearby waterfall and lagoon where we swam all by ourselves! He filled his mud clay pond for us to use as many times as we wanted. Breakfast was delicious and was different each time! This place totally exceeded our expectations! I highly recommend Hacienda en Los volcanos, I know I'll be back!
