Nice hotel not for away from several caves what was our primary goal for this trip. We can use transport to the Punkva caves, then also just walk to another ones. On the place we can find three parking spaces, tourist information center or restaurant or fast food also with clasic Czech Smazeny syr and good beer.

We liked everything in the 3 rooms apartment in the castle. Great equipped kitchen, 2 nice bathrooms, rooms are simply, but very comfortable and clean. Swimming pool is on a distance, which is really good and we enjoy quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Very nice staff in the restaurant, nice beer. Swimming pool is heated and clean. Great place!!!!!

It is a short drive from the Macocha abyss and Punkva caves.

It is a short drive from the Macocha abyss and Punkva caves. It would have been nice to visit more caves and do some hill-walking. We stayed in Brno separately, but unless you want evening entertainment there, it is close enough (20 min drive) to visit from Křtiny (Villa Tugendhat is a must-see there). In Křtiny, we also found a nice café/bar just behind the post office and there is another restaurant opposite. There is a friendly atmosphere in the place. Everybody says hello. Zámek Křtiny - being run by Mendel University Brno - is surely a great place for conferences. Equally great for weddings (with the church next door and nice scenery).
