Hotel Olympionik is a modern complex including a sports and wellness center, a congress center, and a garden pavilion with a grill bar. The hotel was as expected, clean and okay. Breakfast was okay too. It is at the edge of city center but still close enough. A good choice for a one night stay on my bike trip
Quietly located in Melnik town center, this hotel offers large rooms and suites with free Wi-Fi and free parking. Melnik Castle and the River Elbe are just 820 feet away. Amazing hotel in the centre of the beautiful town. The room was huge and had a balcony with a fantastic view
Hotel Swami is 1.1 mi away from the historical center of Mělnik. Prague is 23 mi away. Free WiFi is available in public areas. The rooms feature a TV and private bathroom with a shower. Check in was very efficient and the staff even helped us find local taxis.
Located in a historic building right at the heart of Melnik, Penzion U Zámku is only 98 feet away from Melnik Castle. The property has been awarded The Best Guest house of 2017 Award. The location is excellent - just outside the property is the chateau, as well as a variety of restaurants and independent shops. The breakfast was good, but not exceptional - however, that is personal taste. No doubt had I asked for something different the owner would have been more than happy to accommodate me. Regardless, neither of us left hungry ;-) The facilities within the apartment were fantastic - and Netflix was an added bonus. Only "complaint" was that there was no YouTube (we like to watch international news).
Located in Mělník, 19 miles from O2 Arena Prague, Penzion Piranha provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a garden. We came by bikes, like most people who stayed at Piranha. The location was close to the bike trail, to the huge Billa supermarket and relatively close to the town's attractions. The room was huge and quiet. The staff was very friendly. Being tired and Lazy, we paid 8 euro/person for breakfast and we got a lot of food, cheeses, deli meat, boiled eggs, vegetables, fruit, juices, cappuccino, espresso, etc. The money was well spent. WiFi worked fine.
Offering city views, a bar and free WiFi, Hotel U Rytíře is located in Mělník, 24 miles from Park Mirakulum and 27 miles from Prague ZOO. The location is in the hart of the old town. The apartment is very large. The breakfest has a variety of food to choose. The wine fest, that took place at the time of staying, covered on all the problems.
Aparmán V Podzámčí offers self-catering accommodations located in the historic center of Mělník, 656 feet from Castle Mělník. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Great location, good breakfast and nice host. Nice garden to relax for an evening drink. Great for my dog to run around in.
Guest House Eqilon is located 3.7 mi from Mělník and 19 mi from Prague. Free private parking is available on site. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. Excelent accommodation for the price. Quiet family type place on village edge, near to woods. Good for walking or jogging. Place can be recommended for horse riders especially.
It's a lovely little town, and the chateau would be great to visit in the summer - the grounds have spectacular views. There are some excellent restaurants in the town, but be wary of the Chinese. They gave us a big bowl of rice which we didn't ask for but assumed was included in the order. I don't like rice and my husband had (I kid you not) only 3 spoonfuls of it with his meal. They charged us 90czk (nearly 4 euros) for this, and were very unhelpful when I complained. The Bear Bar has a great selection of own-brewed beers, as well as some delicious APAs and IPAs. The burgers were good, but the chips were fab - real potatoes with skin on ;-)
Beautiful city; just walking around the main part of the city at the top of the hill around the castle was great; but then I also crossed the river to the west and walked along the other side to find one of the most peaceful nature walks ever. I hadn't really even heard of Melnik after living in Prague for years, and I'm so glad I got to see it. I'll be back!
Great to come with kids as there’s plenty to do- contact zoo, water pool , cycling , rafting etc. Teepees and Bungalows don’t include beddings and towels and have shared bathroom facilities but there’re rooms in the hotel which might not be advertised on booking. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The breakfast is average but there’s nothing else in the area so keep that in mind as well as dinner options as kitchen closes at 5pm. The nearest restaurants/supermarkets are in Melnik.
The pension doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms are spacious, clean, new, and overall extremely pleasant! There is also locked bike storage, which makes this a great stop on the Elbe cycle lane (we cycled here from Prague after lunch). There's also a park with a view of the river, and a supermarket, both right next to the hotel.
The hotel is a small indian hotel with a restaurant and an old bowling hall, located in the small czech town Melnik. The whole mixture is a bit bizzar and special.. we loved it! The restaurant is absolutely amazing! Especially for people who like indian food. A lot of vegetarian options, we loved the food!!
The feel of a boutique hotel - historicity + clean and quiet; nice decor of the room. nice shower; beautiful floor tiles in the hallway & corridor, Italian-style garden in the private yard + Location, location +++
Wonderful breakfast. Hotel has been very flexible with us, breakfast is normally served from 8 am but they prepared it at 7 am for us (group of 13 people).
Our room was lovely and we were right in the centre of Melnik. Breakfast was great and we had a secure area to store our bikes
very well located close to the iconic viewpoint of Melnik
