The city is boring. My employees live there so all I went there for was a drink with them. Do not go to Exit99 Bar. The staff doesnt know the price of the sortiment and they do not know how to make a tequilla sunrise

I mostly went for an Event at the Autodrom Most (their race track) which is in great shape and was a lot of fun. The town itself has a nice looking park and a couple sights too, which I didn't anticipate or plan to explore but was surprised to find such a nice scenery. Best travelled by car/rental. Beware some theft (colleagues had their car window smashed for a backpack and it's contents). Food, service and hospitality are cheap and of good quality. Conversing can be tricky if you don't speak Czech. Best learn a few basics.

The city is relatively small and does not have much to offer in terms of historical monuments. The main attractions - the Hnevin castle and the dean church - can be easily done in one day (a car may come in handy, as there is no bus that would take you to the castle; the climb is doable but if you have small children or elderlies among you, I would not recommend that). If you're coming for a sport event, it's going to be grand, because they invest so much in it (in terms of money, time and heart) that it cannot go unnoticed. There is a lake nearby and many hills, so the adventure lovers may have a good time there.

The Soviet-style architecture makes this town a pretty depressing-looking place. There is no pretty old town in the center, only square apartment buildings everywhere. The Autodrom (auto racing track) was the most exciting part.
