This 4-star hotel in Bayreuth offers tasteful accommodation between the Franconian Jura uplands and the Fichtelgebirge mountain range. It features a sauna area with a terrace on the 6th floor. Excellent restaurant with first class cuisine- so we ate in the hotel every night without any repeat ; Snacks and drinks for opera goers before the free coach to the festspielhaus. Most considerate. Perfect way in which the hotel has preserved its 1950's styling and furnishings throughout. Excellent breakfast in the grand restaurant room extended every day to 12 noon! Again most considerate for the previous night's late opera goers.
