This hotel is a perfect choice if you want something simple, comfortable and not too expensive. Breakfast included was in our opinion better than average breakfast. Boiled and scrambled eggs, deli meat but also lots of fruits and vegetables, multiple options of bread with gluten free options too. A huge nutella dispenser?? How cool! And coffee as well as big selection of teas. Big parking lot right next to the hotel and a spot for your car is also included. Room was very spacious and just had everything you can need for a short stay. We already plan to go again, as it's a great closeby location to Aachen. The small city Stolberg is also very cute and nice to have a morning stroll in. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Parkhotel Hammerberg twice in April, and honestly, I loved it both times. The location is amazing — very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature and close to a beautiful castle. At the same time, supermarkets and shops are just a 5-minute drive away. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made me feel comfortable right away. The rooms were bright, very clean, and cozy. And the breakfasts were absolutely delicious! I also really appreciated that breakfast is served until 11 a.m. and check-out is at 12 p.m. — such a big plus when you want to relax and sleep a little longer without rushing. When I needed a place to stay again, I didn’t even consider other options and booked this hotel for the second time. I was so happy to come back to this calm and beautiful place and see the same friendly staff again. Definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel earns better reviews. It was the cheapest option in the city for a single room with private bath and all was perfect. Nice cozy room. All was working well. Friendly reception. Wifi worked well. They have a restaurant. A bit upmarket prices with regional specialities. But at 7.30 pm on a wednesday restaurant was totally empty and I do not like to eat in empty restaurants. I did not try the breakfast due to early check-out.
