This was the most valuable, rememberable stay we had in Ecuador. We loved it! The location, and the drive towards it, is breath taking. The cabin is fantastic, build like in the old days, but with todays modern facilities. It is realy spacious, sleeps 6 if you like. The Italian volunteers were on premise, and they were oh so kind. They explained about their good work and about the Esperanza community. We met with some of the people, who were all very kind and lovable. We have lots of respect for the lady that runs the kitchen and the bank office (I don't remember if it was Francesca, Florence...?). She's a power woman! We got to see the milk factory inside, visited the community building, met de manager there, and visited the school. The kids in the highest class (11-12 years) grabbed their instruments and played us some songs. If people ask about how our vacation was, this is what we tell them about.

Everything was just perfect! Unfortunately, we stayed only one night, but this place is just great and the hosts could not have been more helpful, the communication was excellent and the coffee was the best ever. This small hotel is not only new (opened three years ago) but also perfectly maintained and super clean. Tucked in a quiet and safe corner, in a short walking distance to a shopping mall (2 mins away), taxis and ATMs, the hotel is also close to the city centre, so we even walked downtown (15 mins) and back in the evening. The beds meet the standards of a four-star hotel, so you can sleep comfortably after chilling in bed watching Netflix and resting before climbing Chimborazo.

Excellent attention! We had a medical situation with the altitude and the hotel stuff immediately called an ambulance that helped us a lot as part of their included services. Food, cleanliness, and friendliness was top and we will definitely be coming back if we have the chance.

It was amazing. The room was clean and spacious. The overall place was really good, the breakfast was nice, they even started a bonfire for us with marshmallows.

We had a lovely room and lashes if hot water which after days at hotels where caliente meant lukewarm was absolutely brilliant. The hotel is far away from anything that would cause too much noise so we had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was OK. The parking worked fine.

Super friendly staff, great value for money, room has everything you need. We also did a tour with Marco to Cotopaxi and he sorted out our transport to get to Quito afterwards.

Very pretty hotel with a well decorated patio and rooms. Rooms face inward so I was very quiet at night. Nice bathroom too. Breakfast is served at the restaurant downstairs.
