Staff were SO helpful because it was quite quiet, they even drove us to the bus station when we were struggling to get a taxi. And let us check out late no extra charge. Really close to the beach and restaurants but couldn’t hear any noise from the hotel.

The staff are very friendly and know the area well and give great recommendations. It is loated right off the malecon (and was right around the corner from the dive shop I was using fro SCUBA). Defintiely a good cost to value situation.

We booked online and when we arrived, the hotel was locked up with chains at the gate, not a soul was there. We waited for 3 hours and finally decided to book somewhere else. I hope the owners are fine, but seriously not impressed. Close you online bookings if you leave...

Quite little getaway spot a little walk away from the beach and the main drag, Azuluna Ecolodge offers a perfect hideout for a day or two, or five like for me. I think I was the only guest in the house, and had the whole dorm to my self. Kitchen was still open and the staff provided me with excellent foods with reasonable prices.
