Amazing owners who went out of their way to help us organise the Cotopaxi summit last minute. We had an amazing stay where they made us feel very welcome and gave advice how to explore the area, equipment needed for Cotopaxi, etc. Their home-made meals were amazing. On good days Cotopaxi can be seen from their garden.

The Hacienda is wonderful. A tourist attraction in its own right. The great geographer Humboldt visited in 1801. Superb chapel, trees, garden, views of Cotopaxi.

Rondador Cotopaxi is your best bet in the area of the Cotopaxi park. Highly accessible from the Panamericana, this place offers amazing food for breakfast, lunch and dinner (many people stop here on their way up or down the Cotopaxi as the restaurant is renown all-around for its great food). Our host Fernando made sure we had everything covered and organized daily tours to any destinations (Illinizas, Cotopaxi Park etc.) with his guides. The rooms were smallish but very cozy and very calm

I loved the location and the hotel itself. The room was large and the bed very comortable. Good breakfast. But the 10 goes to Ronnie and Alexandra, who went the extra mile to find a private transportation to Cuenca for me. Very nice people.
