The Hacienda is wonderful. A tourist attraction in its own right. The great geographer Humboldt visited in 1801. Superb chapel, trees, garden, views of Cotopaxi.

Really recommend Rondador Cotopaxi for anyone wanting to enter the national park from the south. The staff are so kind and helpful, especially Fernando, who goes above and beyond to help, including to arrange pick up from the bus stop along the panamerican if needed. You can book trips to the park directly with them, and because of the location, you can get to the volcano early and before the clouds roll in. The food is really good and the rooms are clean, warm and full of fresh flowers.

The hostel is quiet and it's in a safe area. There is a bus stop on the Panamericana, about 10 minutes from the hostel. The buses to and from Quito stop there but the drivers mostly didn't know where the stop was. The hostel is a good place for couples or families.

A recently renovated campground situated in Latacunga, La Cabaña de Ciela C glamping con jacuzzi, minigolf y croquet features a garden. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area.

The house was very comfortable, and the hosts were very thoughtful. They gave great instructions on how to locate the property. They delivered breakfast the following morning, and it was delicious.

Frank is an amazing host! He helped us so much with planning of the trips around. ( El Corazón, Iliniza Norte, Cotopaxi....) Chaupi was our base camp for the acclimatization in mountains in Ecuador. We spent in Frank hostal amazing one week and I can definitely say, that it was the best decision stay in Ilinizas Wasi. You can use a kitchen, pat their dog and cats, use the washing machine. Frank even helped us with booking a guide for Cotopaxi and he recommended us great guide Marco. ( From 8 groups we were the only ones, who reached the summit.) I recommend this place 10/10.!
