Polva in my opinion is the best area in Estonia.

Polva in my opinion is the best area in Estonia. The energy is fantastic and it feels like a complete other country itself once you arrive. The ancient magic forest and nature in the surrounding is really beautiful. You can easily compare its energy with Himalayas, Tibet or other advanced spiritual places. Perfect for healings, detox and to connect to the nature. I wouldn't reccomend this place for drinking and parties out of respect. Its a sacred area.

Very beautiful nature.

Very beautiful nature. Extremely clean, cozy and private lodging (we were in Mesikamäe Sauna House). A pleasant surprise was the offer of a delicious and rich breakfast, which was not available when we originally made the reservation.

Põlva was a very cute and flowery little town.

Põlva was a very cute and flowery little town. We enjoyed delicious food at Jäägri Grill and stayed at Põlva Maja Apartment, which was comfortable and clean and nice to stay in, with a comfortable bed and a cozy terrace. The surprise was the nightly color show on the lake! And the Kiidjärv show was only 15 km away.

Since we only spent one weekend in the Põlva area, we didn't get to see many places. I really liked Kiidjärve and Taevaskoda, but I would have expected a little more from the Piusa caves. It's definitely worth visiting Rosma village, where Rosma Castle and the watermill are located.

The goal was a concert on Lake Kiidjärv.

The goal was a concert on Lake Kiidjärv. Driving back to Pärnu at night seemed like a stupid idea. During the day we went to Mooste Manor, where a fair happened to be taking place. I really liked the manor complex, great work has been done. We also managed to take a ride on Ahja Reservoir. So we had a meaningful day before the concert. We were very satisfied with all the activities.

I stayed in Põlva for a sports competition. The cottage was perfect — cozy, with a great sauna, good ventilation, and a grill for barbecue. The location is convenient, close to the sports center, cafés, and shops. It is ideal both for a romantic getaway, as the place is very beautiful, and for a family stay, as there is plenty of space. The host was very friendly and welcoming. I would gladly stay here again!
