The most unexpected surprise was the large terrace and its view. We were able to make a nice dinner, eat with a view of the sunset over the mountains and sleep very well. Breakfast was very nice and while the kitchen was very nice, it was great to have someone else do that first thing in the morning and not have to worry about plates or washing up afterwards. The apartment was very comfortable and had all the emenities you might need.

Booked last minute, had no idea abot this area or hotel, I just liked the photo with the lake. Wow, I was really enchanted by the lake and the mountain backdrop, it was very stunning. In the morning, with the sun rising, birds tweeting, and the still waters, I really wanted to be on a canoe in the middle of the lake and just absorb that energy. The staff are excellent, all of them from the reception to the restaurant. What I requested was given and I really appreciated them and the service in the hotel is five star all the way :)-

We were left speechless by the hospitality we received from the Host of Casa Sanui- Gemma. She kept in touch from the moment we secured the booking and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and help us find activities in the surrounding area. Beyond grateful to Gemma and her family for sharing this absolute gem of a property. It really is a piece of history. Preserved and renovated to an impeccable standard. The views, the location - everything about our stay there was just excellent. We look forward to going back as soon as possible! It has to be seen to be believed!

Ager is a pretty village / small town on a hill, situated at...

Ager is a pretty village / small town on a hill, situated at the foot of the Serra de Montsec in the pre pyrenees. Excellent for hiking with organised canoe / kayaking available. Ager has long been a mecca for hang gliding (and paragliding) and hosts many competitions attracting pilots from around the world. Although the local population is small, there are several eateries and a couple of shops in town, and a growing number of apartments to rent. Ager has a large campsite with pitches, chalets and restaurant. The nearest large hotel is 15 minutes away at Terradets, with the town of Tremp 20 minutes drive to the north of Ager and the larger and more interesting town of Balaguer 1/2 an hour south.

Stayed one night in one of the duplex suites and it was really lovely. Clean, modern and comfortable. It was out of season and the site was extremely quiet. There was nothing open in the local village of Ager but the site bar / restaurant provided great drinks & pizza. Staff were great. Would definitely return.

Very cosy little house, with modern amenities but keeping the rustic look. The outdoor space was also very cool, specially nice to enjoy sunny and warm days! The owner and family were all very welcoming, giving us tips to better enjoy our time around Àger.

Common place, including bath room were really clean. Rooms are correct, without comfort equipment, but what is needed to sleep and travel is there. Ager is a nice pueblo to be visited.
