It was nice that hotel was not big (no tiny either), corporation owned, but still family ran business which made this stay more personal. We really liked this family - both wife and husband, they were really sincere to guests. Besides we liked restaurant on ground floor of the hotel - would like to dine there more, but made it just once, because it is closed 1 day per week. And the view - turquise blue water and beach view - just awesome, could watch this for hours.

We have stayed in Hotel Altaia 4 times and we love it. So close to everything, beach, promenade, port, old town. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I have stayed here many times in recent years and it never fails to please. It has to be the most understated hotel in the area. Clean, comfortable, ample free parking, good WiFi, great value and a great breakfast.

Everything was just great, the views were to die for, the location was second to none and the breakfast was superb

Very comfortable beds and design

Even though it’s a clinic, it really doesn’t feel like one. The spaces are cozy and the team was very friendly and helpful. I really loved the spa and the snow cabin was such a surprise as I had never seen that anywhere else. It’s a very elegant and luxury place, with every little detail thought through.

A lot of space, food, sea view

Bed was comfortable ,room was clean,great selection at breakfast.Shops,restaurant are everywhere.Close to the beach.

Good location, 12 mins walk from beach, good restaurants near, pool was lovely, breakfast had a good variety. Supermarket across the road was handy for grabbing things to cook myself.

The owner met us outside as we were trying to park, and it was fabulous. Inside the gorgeous boutique hotel we were made very welcome, even offered a glass of cava (champagne) to chill out whilst our bags were taken to our room, which was ready early as well. The room was gorgeous, with lovely views. It was spacious, gorgeous bathroom and it even had Netflix, which we didn't need as it was superbly located between the beachfront and the Old Town. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the beautiful Altea.

The hotel is superb, new, everything in perfect condition. The location is dreamy, in the old town, with stunning views and restaurants and cafés everywhere. Highly recommended.

Everything a beautiful place just on the outskirts of the old town. So peaceful. Food was wonderful and staff so helpful and caring. Look forward to returning

the woman making breakfast each day was exceptional. so warm friendly and happy to help in anyway, she really made me feel so comfortable as I was on my own.
