SpainWe stayed here for 5 nights whilst touring the Picos and surrounding area on our motorbike. We booked half board and were not disappointed. The staff are friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, with great views, the food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was excellent and a garage to park the bike was great. It was a perfect location to explore the area with many of the must do sights and roads within easy reach. We would highly recommend this hotel and are already planning our next visit!

SpainI liked everything about the property especially given the price but above all its location, 5 minute walk from the Sanctuary and Basilica complex allowing for an early start to explore Covadonga before the main wave of visitors arrive. Brilliantly placed too for the short if complicated drive ( if traveling in your own car) up to the Picos de Europa and the lakes.

Comfortable rooms with plenty of heating and good soundproofing (the hotel was full over Easter and I didn’t hear a single sound from other rooms.)
Great breakfast, including four different homemade cakes every day, among with plenty of cheese, meats, breads, cereals and fruit etc.
It’s a charming village with a lovely restaurant and bar just a few mins walk away. Was delighted not to be staying in Cangas de Onis town which was noisy and busy (yet can be reached in just a few mins drive from this peaceful village).
Plenty of parking around.

NetherlandsI had a wonderful stay! The location is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The hotel is very cozy and has a lot of character with a beautiful garden. The room was lovely, good bed, very nice view and was very clean, I couldn’t wish for more. Patricia and Maria were such lovely people. Despite me not speaking a word of Spanish, we had our conversations via Google translate and it worked perfect (next time I will learn a little bit more Spanish ;)
I couldn’t recommend this beautiful hotel more!

Small rural town, lots of farming.
Small rural town, lots of farming. Very little touristic development. But you can find it nearby. There are a few restaurants 1 km down the road in the neighboring village and there are many more within a 20-minute drive - plus shopping and the usual souvenir stores. You will need a car to get to Avin. Not sure how reliable and accessible public transportation would be to this location.

A lovely group of 4 individual self catering apartments in the hills on the edge of Avin. Beautiful location and spotlessly clean. Very friendly and helpful host. Dog friendly and very nice gardens. Excellent outdoor covered seating area. Will stay again if in the area.

Wonderful apartment complex that overlooks the little town of Avin and less than 20 minutes from the heart of Picos de Europa National Park. Very clean and new facility. Allows dogs but limited to one pet for an extra 10 euros per night.
