We had a fantastic stay at the Casona. Enrique was a very gracious host, and he was there to meet us as we arrived quite late in the evening. He gave us the key and showed us our room, and we basically had the whole place to ourselves! The room was great, looked just like the pictures and we also had a big terrace. The house itself is amazing, filled with treasures and pieces of art, each one with it's own story to tell. The next day, Enrique brought us a bottle of wine, and we sat outside sharing some stories and enjoying the terrace. His partner was also there and was very pleasant to us. We will certainly stay again the next time we are in town (my wife is from the area) and would definitely recommend this stunning old country house to anyone staying in the area.

We used the hotel as a base to tour the area and it was perfect. Immediate access to Auto via and a 2 min ride into Ayelo Manferit. Secure car parking inside the gates of the hotel, right outside the room (more of a motel than hotel). Rooms v large & fully kitted. Air-con and central heating. Comfy bed & good bathroom. Stayed B&B and breakfast was whatever you asked for. Had a couple of evening meals which were superb. Yudy was particularly nice & helpful and the breakfast staff were very bright & breezy. And a nice big indoor pool V V good

Spanish Ladies House with original features and furnishings. Comfy room with ante-room La Sabela. Very clean. Own restaurant - very useful as only a bar in town. The night it was open we had a fresh fish meal, fruit, dessert, coffee, lovely local wine for 35. euros. Outdoor sunny terrace with views of villlage and mountains for great breakfast. Lovely helpful staff, always an English speaker available And really impressive - local people use the place, especially for breakfast, which makes for a great Spanish ambience - what a community facility it is. We could buy fresh bocadiilo to take walking and they filled our flask !

Mark and Inge have created such a special place here. We stayed there for the second time, and it was another absolutely amazing experience. The rooms are absolutely stunning, with a very comfortable bed and amazing shower. If you have the chance to eat at their restaurant, you won't be disappointed. Inge prepares the most amazing food with out of this world flavours. Every dish is especially handcrafted, with local ingredients wherever possible and totally amazing. This time, we stayed during a rather cold spell, but the whole castle was warm and cozy, and so was our room. Thanks, Inge and Mark, for yet another unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back.

Very beautiful hotel with some features of Middle East architecture. The room was very spacious and clean. Both the interior and exterior designs pleased the eyes. The hotel has its own restaurant, the steaks and burgers served were delicious likewise the wine. The breakfast was also varied, very tasty coffee and fresh pastry. The location is perfect both for city sightseeing and having a pleasant relaxed stay.
