We had a very pleasant stay. The staff is amazing! The hotel is very family oriented and super comfortable. We had view to the pool and it was very convenient to access it. Dali's house/museum is right next to the hotel. The walk to downtown is about 15 minutes. We rented a car and had free parking but we only used it one day to explore the Costa Brava beaches. Can't wait to come back and stay here again.

We liked everything! It is a beautiful Mediterranean -style hotel.The terrace outside the room had breathtaking views of the pool, gardens and the ocean. The breakfast buffet is amazing and Gaby makes sure you have everything you need. For lunch Estela is so nice! This hotel Hasan amazing staff. Téo, at the reception, is so professional! If I lived in Europe, I would come back every summer.

The hotel was beautifully decorated with really interesting art pieces and photographs. The room was very comfortable and clean, and we had a stunning view over the bay. The hotel is in an ideal location with the beachfront just minutes away. All of the staff we came into contact with were extremely helpful. Having a car park was a bonus.

Location is very nice up the hill with easy access to the village center. The design of the hotel is special in a great way. Simple beauty, impressive use of nice materials and a decent but beautiful look. Breakfast is home made and prepared on order - with a fruit and cake buffet as an addition. I loved the family atmosphere and the way I was taken care off. Restaurant reservations were made by the hotel manager with a nice choice of restaurants. I will be back ;-)

Loved the tranquility and beautiful surrounding space after checking out of an 8m2 room in Cadaques town after a very uncomfortable night. Sa Perafita felt very luxurious after that!! Wonderful, air-conditioned room with a great view all the way down to Cadaques town (we had the very end room). Very comfortable bed. Had parking for our rented car. Great breakfast. Sun, Sea and Rich Artistic Heritage

Cadaqués is a Spanish harbour town in north Catalonia on the beautiful Costa Brava, about a 2-hour drive from Barcelona. The white of the houses and the blue of the sky inspired many famous artists like Matisse, Picasso and Max Ernst, who decided to live there for a period of their life.

Featuring traditional Mediterranean architecture with narrow streets, a sophisticated atmosphere and a paradise bay with small fishing boats, the medieval town of Cadaqués is home to important churches and museums.

The world-renown surrealist painter Salvador Dali lived in Port Lligat, in a former fisherman's house with his everlasting love Gala. Today the house of Salvador Dali is open to the public and you can visit the artist’s atelier, the library and the garden.

Travellers should not miss the national park of Cap de Creus, the easternmost point of mainland Catalonia with a historic lighthouse built in 1853. This unique place is perfect for hiking or boat excursions.

I love Cadaques!

I love Cadaques! I’ve been there a few times and it’s become one of my favourite places to visit. It has a very laid back casual atmosphere, while still maintaining a certain elegance. It’s easy to walk around and explore, you can get a meal or a drink any time (not limited to 12-2 and 7-9pm as in France), the beach is accessible and the water refreshing, and then there’s Dali’s house to visit and linger over at Portlligat and the chance to venture into the park of cap de creus. Something for everyone.

Cadaques was a great experience, a magical town with unique...

Cadaques was a great experience, a magical town with unique charm, vacation culture, and history due to its somewhat isolated location. Can see why it was a draw for 19thC artists. Restautants and bars were awesome -- some of the best food experienced in Spain. It was great to walk along the shore to different beaches and coves -- sampling swimming and wines along the way. Two nights was not enough time -- wish we has another day to walk to the lighthouse.

The city is lovely.

The city is lovely. I visited Salvador Dalí's house - just wonderful. I walked along the promenade, admiring the beauty and power of the sea on the Costa Brava. Strolling through the old streets, visiting the (very good) restaurants, and enjoying the delicious ice cream made my visit unforgettable. From Cadaqués, it's possible to visit the famous Cap Creus, which inspired Salvador Dalí. A bus departs periodically from the local bus station (the schedules are posted on the outside wall).

A beautiful, little town.

A beautiful, little town. The port is lovely and it's fun to walk around the little streets and discover hidden corners. The church is lovely with great views of the town and ocean. We took a boat trip around the coast, seeing all the little coves and stopping for a quick swim in one of them.

Very busy place in the height of the season.

Very busy place in the height of the season. Beaches are not fantastic, but the water looks very inviting. Good place for shopping for beachwear etc. Lots of bars and restaurants, of mixed quality. Good to walk from here to other smaller beaches, and boat excursions too.

All the benefits of a seaside resort without the overcrowding, cars, or giant tourist attractions. A very pleasant town to spend a few days in; convenient to other venues like Roses and Port de la Selva. Plenty of charming and interesting restaurants; excellent strolling opportunities; gobs of sunshine; easy relaxed atmosphere.

Excellent location. We stayed in one of the studios which are excellently appointed - perfect for a few days or a week to enjoy the area (walking, cycling, hanging around on the beach….). It’s outside of Cadaqués so much quieter. There’s a couple of beach bars nearby that do excellent seafood for decent prices - and a roast chicken place if you don’t feel like cooking… We didn’t use the hotel bar or restaurant (no need).

Convenient location, close to the old town. Friendly and hospitality hotel. Comfortable bed. Delicious and quality breakfast. There's a terrace where you can enjoy breakfast. Breakfast includes avocado and a variety of milks, which is rare in hotels of this level. One day I forgot my sweater in the restaurant and staff brought it to me at reception, that was very nice.
