Very friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome. Breakfast is excellent. The whole place is spotlessly clean and well looked after. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

EVERYTHING! starting from extremely nice hosts (Cris and Gustavo) to amazing delicious home made breakfast. It's in the middle of the village surrounded by pure nature. The atmosphere is very homie and cozy, you immediately feel like in your grandma's summer house - true rural house with lots of charm. Cris and Gustavo were the best, helping with the recommendations, places to visit and genuinely care about your stay and experience. You could feel that everything was made with their hands and heart. I will definitely come back.

Beautiful location in a rural village. Lovely traditional house. Owner took great care of all guests. Taking evening dinner at Villalen is highly recommended. Only slightly off the Camino Norte. One of my best stays.

Silken Gran Hotel del Sella is a wonderful place to stay, combining comfort with a charming historical atmosphere. Its location by the sea adds to the experience, offering beautiful views and a relaxing environment. I especially appreciated the sense of history throughout the hotel – it gives the place a unique and memorable character. Excellent service and a setting that makes you want to return.

very nice Hotel in a beautiful village. The hosts are very nice and friendly. We enjoyed to stay there very much. Secure place to park our motorbikes.

The nice hard working lady at reception was very friendly. Breakfast 9-11 coffee w/toast or cressant $3.50. Simple, basic hotel room. Clean and comfortable. On the hill overlooking the town, marina and waterfront. Lots of beautiful walking areas.

I love this place. First came here in 1985 so this was a bit of memory jolter. Of course, it was camping only then, the hotel building just being a shell. The renovation has been very tastefully done. Fabous beaches within a walk away and then there's the Picos.

We loved this hotel situated right on the Ribadesella paseo/boardwalk, amidst other truely charming villa’s ! We did not regret chosing a room with seaview, and although the windows were of the Velux type, we had a very good view of the sea, the beach and the beautiful surroundings. There is no traffic on the paseo, so you only hear the waves… The hotel is family-run and especially Alejandro in the breakfast room did a very good job, he was friendly in a natural way and spoke very good English. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a big plus, resulting in a score of 10 ! Ribadesella is ideally situated to explore the magnificent coastline and the Picos, also note that the hotel has its own on site parking for about 10 cars, so just perfect if you come by car :)

The rooms are very clean and newly decorated, very easy to find just off the main motorway to Santander. Beautiful views of the mountains, no road noise at night and a very tasty breakfast from the Cafe downstairs. Plenty of parking. We only stayed 1 night on the way back to the ferry but would have loved to have stayed longer due to the river that runs behind the hotel. Very friendly staff and felt very safe, clean bedding and towels
