The location and the room was amazing!

Of all our hotels visited along the green coast, the staff at Solymar were by far the friendliest and most helpful. A lovely traditional room and very good value for money.

Spacious room, great stuff and it had a nice atmosphere

Cosy, comfortable and location excellent to visit Covadonga's Lakes and the.village.of Bulnes amongst other. Excellent host, warm personality and helpful in giving valuable advice for best places to visit.

Very cute and quaint. A good breakfast and a lovely small town. Be aware that there is nothing open at night in town - in the next town over yes but not a fun walk in the dark

Spacious Room. Clean. Friendly staff

Beautiful location, fabulous building and rooms, amazing food. Manuel and his colleagues couldn't do enough to help us, particularly with our very bad grasp of Spanish. We even witnessed Spain beating France to go through to the Euro Finals on Sunday (hopefully against us). We will be back!! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Lovely family run hotel with delicious breakfast

This hotel was amazing 20 years ago. It has been extended and modernised since then but still has an amazing friendly feel the view is really special. A small bay with rock formations toward the sea.shallow and safe for children. The food was really good but 21.00 hrs is too late for me to eat . Menu del dia was really good.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Fantastic location with bars, restaurants, beaches and the train station all within walking distance.

Hotel is new and nice however the staff was a disappointment. In the middle of solving an issue with the receptionist, he left to check something and he never came back. Later he just said “sorry, not possible”. This is not how you’d expect hotel staff’s behavior. The hotel is new, but it doesn’t come with services. The neighborhood of the hotel is also kind of disturbing, constructions of big blocks around. Overall feeling - definitely not to be repeated.

Everything! This place is a gem. We travelled as a family, three couples, one with children. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is simple, but has everything you need. There were also meals open to everyone and dinners for hotel residents only. One day we had a lobster rice dish there that had nothing to envy that of a Michelin-starred chef. We spent five days there and came back recharged. It is a haven of peace. The surroundings are beautiful, there are several lovely beaches and areas to go for walks that demonstrate the natural beauty of Asturias. We hope to return!

This is really nice hotel. Wonderful room with a view to the field with fruit trees. They have an outdoor terrace and possibilities to dry your clothes if you are walking the Camino. Ask for it in the reception. Everything were perfect.

Beautiful property with great staff. Very comfortable room. Loved it for a special Camino stay.

Really quirky hotel which i like. Indiano architecture and interiors i guess.Brusque but efficient landlady (it was Sunday afternoon) Nice little town - not overly touristy but places available to eat. Liked it alot.

Great staff and excellent value for money. Brilliant location

Everything. Charming accommodation, like being inside a living museum. Old fashioned but in a good way, a pleasant change from regular modern hotels. The owner is so kind and welcoming and obviously puts much care and effort into making guests feel comfortable and looked after. The breakfast is a real treat, with homemade jams and cakes and sometimes tortilla de patatas. Nice to have a kettle and tea selection in the room.

Beautiful hotel with an excellent Spa and location was perfect. Garage and parking spaces available if you are driving. Excellent collection of old motorcycles and old car on display in hotel.
