This hotel is a gem! The staff are fabulous, the rooms are so comfortable, spacious and the hotel inside and out are beautifully cleaned and maintained. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on this but dinner was absolutely delicious. Beautifully cooked, seasoned and plated attractively. The night we stayed was very quiet, so the whole restaurant was ours! This was the first night of our motorbike tour of Spain and Portugal, we would definitely stay here again.

It is a working town, functional, but a gateway to mountains...

It is a working town, functional, but a gateway to mountains and sea. Having a car to explore the area would be easiest, but Oviedo is only 20 minutes away by public transport. The coastline is beautiful but if you want to party and be in a hub, this may not be for you, apart from the cider bars which are great fun, and great traditional seafood, it isn't a party town.

I was worried about finding the building and accessing the apartment, after reading previous reviews. My own experience was rather smooth. The host contacted me and kept me informed of the procedure to find the building and access the apartment. Once I entered the apartment the room and facilities were very good and everything looked clean and well maintained. Mieres is a charming small town and everything of interest is near to the apartment building.

The location was just a few minutes away from the central area, which turned out to be a lot of fun with a complete cross-section of Spanish life milling around, despite being mid-week. The hotel was clean and comfortable with decent, if not luxury, towels and linen. Not unlike the breakfast. Our motorcycle was parked securely, off street, in a garage just 50m away

A lovely hotel, a short walk out of the town centre. Very clean, good facilities and friendly staff. I was so happy to have a bath with the room, a good soak at the end of a long camino day was a joy! Benefit for camino Salvador peregrinos is the hotel is situated on the way out of Mieres, so you're already on your way on that final day.

We had a wonderful stay in Mieres. The rooms were very beautiful,charming with traditional interior. In the evenings, we enjoyed delicious dinners of a truly culinary standard. The hospitality was exceptional — warm, open, and family-like. We highly recommend it
