We had a wonderful stay. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, and we truly appreciated how welcome our dog was. A very enjoyable and relaxing stop.

The rooms were very cozy and the property is very beautiful and quiet

The hotel was very nice, middle of a golf course. There is a spa and GYM and other services. We have not use them though as they were charged extra apart from using the GYM. In overall the place are beautiful, quiet ( apart from the guests which we can not control). We had breakfast which was good. If you are mainly vegetarian like ourself then be prepare not to having choices. You might be able to request something. We did not requested, we were ok at this time what was provided.

The staff is very welcoming. There is a nice garden and a common area with sofa and kettle for hot beverages accessible to guests.

Mara the lovely owner makes this place, she immediately makes you feel at home, gave us a very welcome arrival beer and snacks. She is and amazing cook, the entire place is beautifully decorated, breakfast is simply fabulous. She tolerated my appalling Spanish and helped improve it. She makes you feel like a you are a visiting friend.

A warm welcome by Adolfo and family upon arrival; it felt like visiting friends in their beautiful rural retreat! A great homecooked 3-course dinner with lovely wines and a scrumptious breakfast! A lovely start of a visit to Gijón! Gracias querida familia!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rural Casona de Cefontes. The property is set in a very peaceful and quiet area surrounded by nature, which made it perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. At the same time, it’s just a short drive from Gijón, so we could easily enjoy the city and the coast while returning to a tranquil setting. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the entire hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel truly at home. A beautiful place to unwind, highly recommended!
