Everything was absolutely superb about this trip! The house is stunnig! The attention to every the detail. The connection of old and authentic with comfortable and cosy. Carmen is such an amazing host. We really loved the stay, altough too short, it was very personal for us. We're huge fans of places with history, houses with soul. Hotel Plaza is good if you're a budget traveler. The place is just a walking distance from all the attractions in Cangas de Onis. The room is of decent size and the bathroom is just right for my petite size. Other people might complain of the noise as it got a bar downstairs, but as a person who cannot sleep if it's too quiet, I find it a blessing. Even though I don't speak Spanish, I feel welcome and they use a translator to communicate.

The location is brillant with spectacular views from every point on the property. We had a great room with a terrace looking straight at the mountains and valley. It was comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff were exceptional, from the welcoming at reception, the gentleman delivering our luggage from the car, the house staff and the restaurant staff. A particular message and thank you to Abdou head of the restaurant. Very generous and courteous with his time and manner.
