This hotel is a gem! The staff are fabulous, the rooms are so comfortable, spacious and the hotel inside and out are beautifully cleaned and maintained. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on this but dinner was absolutely delicious. Beautifully cooked, seasoned and plated attractively. The night we stayed was very quiet, so the whole restaurant was ours! This was the first night of our motorbike tour of Spain and Portugal, we would definitely stay here again.

.A very cozy and comfortable cottage with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The neighbors were very pleasant and contributed to a warm atmosphere. What truly made this experience special was the incredibly kind and caring hostess. All of these elements combined made for a truly enjoyable and memorable holiday. Highly recommended!

It had all the facilities we needed with a good choice of bars/restaurants/open spaces/shops etc. Easy access onto a major road. Less than 5 mins out of the town the scenery is absolutely fantastic. The place felt safe when walking around, it was clean.

The property is located in a great spot, with friendly and helpful staff. Although the hotel is a bit outdated, we didn’t experience any problems, even with the room change due to a broken bed. The breakfast was good, though it would be even better if they included some slices of ham and cheese to pair with the bread or toast.

The breakfast presentation was poor. Compared to our second hotel which was also deemed four star, the difference was like night and day. The location of the hotel is depressing and menu for the evening meal dreadful. Perhaps an overnight stay is bearable but any longer in this hotel is not adviseable.

The hotel room is not worth the money. The location is very boring, the spa is not included in the price. The cost of the room + spa is too high. The food in the restaurant is delicious.

Love this place stopped many times. Lovely old mining town. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Hotel very good. Parking down a long ramp. Ok for motorcycles.
