The reception staff, cleaning staff, and security team were all very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. They always made me feel welcome and safe. The hotel manager, Mike, was especially supportive and attentive, which really made a positive difference.

Hera Addis Hotel was one of my best accommodations in Ethiopia. The staff were incredibly helpful, the entire hotel was spotless, and the room was so cozy that I genuinely looked forward to returning there every day. A great bonus was the included airport transfer—it was quick, comfortable, and reliable. The breakfasts were delicious, and I even visited the restaurant a few times for dinner. Additionally, the hotel’s relative proximity to the "metro" was very convenient, especially before I got used to navigating the city’s transportation system.

The rooms are really cute and clean. Staff are super friendly and attentive. I felt sick before taking a local guided tour outside Addis, so when my guide arrived, the front desk made sure he is aware of my condition. I’ve been to many countries before and stayed mostly 4-5 star hotels, but service at Best Western exceeded my expectations. Additionally, the rooms are sizable and comfortable. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at the newly opened Altera Luxury Living hotel apartments in Addis Ababa from 22–31 May 2026, in a three-bedroom apartment on the 12th floor. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with finishes and furnishings comparable to those of a top-tier 5-star hotel. The location is another major advantage. Situated off Airport Road near Ramada Hotel and London Coffee, the property is within walking distance of numerous restaurants, cafés, and coffee shops. Fresh Corner Supermarket and several other convenience stores are located nearby, including two that operate 24 hours a day, making it an excellent choice for both short and extended stays. One of the highlights of Altera Luxury Living is its spectacular rooftop, which is among the best in Addis Ababa. The beautifully designed lounge offers an almost 360-degree panoramic view of the city and is complemented by recreational facilities, including a billiard table and foosball. A special thank you to Qal Kidan, Elsabet, and Ermiyas at reception for their warm hospitality and outstanding service. Overall, Altera Luxury Living exceeded my expectations and is a property I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Addis Ababa.
