Amazing hotel in historical Lalibela.Very good location-not far from 11 Churches.The Host was taking care for us everywhere and 24/7- incredibly good service! Tasty breakfast and Ethiopian cofee thanks to very good cook.It has been unforgettable stay!

Great location, wonderful staff, excellent food, comfortable rooms. Even on Christmas Eve a bonfire and Christmas tree were prepared for us.We particularly fond memories of our guide, Mekuanint, who accompanied us for almost three days. He showed great knowledge and cordiality. He will remain in our hearts forever.

The view is out of this world. The room was comfortable, light and spotlessly clean.

stay in Lalibela was absolutely unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to the hotel owner, Yohannes. He is an incredible person who truly cares about his guests and did everything possible to make my stay comfortable and special. From the first moment, I felt welcomed and genuinely looked after. The room was excellent — clean, comfortable, and well prepared. The hotel territory is very pleasant, well maintained, and creates a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfasts were unbelievably delicious — fresh, generous, and made with care. Yohannes also organized a tour for me, and my guide Moges was outstanding. He did everything to ensure I had the maximum experience and truly understood the history and spirit of Lalibela. Thanks to him, the visit became much deeper and more meaningful. I highly recommend this place — 10 out of 10. In my opinion, it is the best place to stay in Lalibela. If I come back, I will definitely stay here again.

I had a truly wonderful stay at the hotel and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Lalibela. The location is excellent — beautifully set on the edge of a cliff with spectacular views over the surrounding mountains and valleys, while still being close enough to Lalibela’s famous rock-hewn churches to make sightseeing easy and convenient. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. As a solo traveller, I really appreciated how comfortable and well looked after they made me feel. They were always happy to help with recommendations, arrange transport or tours, and answer any questions about the area. My room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and it was beautifully and colourfully furnished. Having a private balcony was a real highlight — the views were absolutely breathtaking and it was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring, especially at sunset. The hotel also has lovely communal areas. I particularly enjoyed the sunken seating area with an open fire, where early evening drinks are served. The atmosphere in the evenings was warm and relaxed, made even more special by local dancers performing, which added an authentic cultural touch to the experience. Overall, my stay exceeded expectations. The combination of the stunning setting, excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and welcoming atmosphere made this a memorable and enjoyable stay, and I would gladly return.

I stayed at this hotel on my own and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful when needed, which made my stay comfortable and easy. I was positively surprised by the quality of the hotel, not only in terms of service but also the facilities. Everything was well maintained and modern. The views are spectacular and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Overall, the hotel offers a great combination of good service, excellent facilities, and a beautiful setting. Absolutely stunning property The view from the room balcony is just incredible. Beautiful lush greenery and hills. The restaurant food was lovely and a lovely lovely breakfast.The staff was such a nice guy and made us so comfortable. The beds were so beautifully decorated when we entered . Hardly 5 mins away from the churches . It’s a must stay and a must do activity !!
