VisitHOMES Elduvík is set in Elduvík. Featuring sea and mountain views, this holiday home also features free WiFi. Perfect picturesque location. Very friendly manager and owner: The owner even invited us to watch DK-Wales at his home in Torshavn, since the cottage-television only showed the two faorese channels, and the footballmatch wasnt shown on them…

Gjógv can easily be explorerd by foot. We especially loved the puffins on the cliff edge above the small harbour as well as the great views over to Kalsoy. The children played with makeshift rafts on the small stream in the village centre. Just above the harbour is a small café selling waffles. Try one with rhubarb jam!
Wonderful little village in amazing location. Guesthouse has what you need to enjoy the otherwise very quiet village and hiking opportunities. In summer, see the local kids in wet suits splashing around in the pond!
You can stay anywhere in the Faroes without having to travel too far to see other places. Gjogv is an especially cute town and we enjoyed our time there! Not much going on in the actual town, it's just nice to look at which is a trend with small Faroese villages, especially in April! It's easy to get to and from gjogv and was a good base for exploring esturoy.
