This gem of an inn was the perfect place for our visit to the Champagne region of France. It's centrally located near Reims and Epernay, and it's also quite close to the Chateau Thierry and Belleau Woods monuments and battlefields for the World War I history buffs. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and helpful, and the hotel's restaurant is excellent. Breakfast was 18 Euros per person and included a variety of fresh items from a boulangerie, yogurt, rice pudding, fresh fruit, and cheeses. The location of the hotel is gorgeous, with great views of the surrounding countryside. One could describe it as either pastoral or bucolic. Our room was on the second floor, and there is no lift, but the gentleman who checked us in insisted on carrying our luggage up to our room. Our room was more than adequate, the bed was comfortable, and air conditioner could keep you ice cold, if you wished. The bathroom was large, and everything worked well.

We had a fabulous time in this gorgeous part of the Champagne region. This Ibis hotel is excellent value with fantastic, friendly staff. Breakfast is wonderful with lovely outdoor option. Location offers other dining facilities or fast food nearby and is only couple of minutes drive from the beautiful town with a lovely river walk adjacent. Highly recommended!

It was extraordinary to be in a building dating the medieval era with the style reminiscent of the 18-19th century on top of it. So many facilities were accessible and the rooms were amazing. The location was very good with parking not too far. The owners were very helpful and very enjoyable. More locations need to mirror this style.
