We were given the choice of a sunny room or one on the shady side. Since it was extremely hot out we appreciated the ability to chose a room on the shady side. An added bonus was that we also had a lovely patio overlooking the garden.
Also, the dinner in the restaurant was the best we had in 4 weeks in France. Equivalent to a one star Michelin! Very creative and extremely delicious!

The hotel was fantastic value for money. I loved how ancient the village is, how quaint but comfortable the hotel is and dining in the garden, overlooked by the great ancient church, was superb - good food in an atmospheric location. I loved all of the storks who nest on many of the rooftops in the village.

A beautiful village which can be walked around in a couple of hours. An ideal starting point for local walks in the woods or day excursions to the northern Vosges. If you like jazz and can be there for the August festival ("Au Gré du Jazz"), you will be in heaven!

Very charming, cozy and elegant. The kitchen was very nice and convinient. The best part was the dinner at the restaurant of the hotel (with gluten free options). don’t forget to book in advance because it is very popular. The village around is very beautiful with the castle and old wall. We brought a 1 year old baby with us and all went very smooth. we will repeat!! congratulations to the team.
Very authentic, beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. It is far from the town, but for us that is what we were looking for- right in the forest and by hiking trails.
The staff was largely very pleasant and helpful, even though we did not speak French or German :) The rooms were clean, and a view from the balcony amazing.
The restaurant and the food was fantastic.
Charming hotel in a small and beautiful village. Great surroundings for walks and hikes. The room was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was rather small. Restaurant was very good as well as the service. Breakfast was great, good quality and local food. Facilities are great, we enjoyed the pool and the sauna. Free parking on the street was very easy.
Apart from this hotel being history-loaded for my wife and me (here we got together during a company retreat/training over 20 years ago), the proximity to all the nice cities of Alsace, while being totally silent is just great.
Breakfast is really nice, too.
Lovely family style hotel. It's a bit dated but that adds to the charm. Restaurant serves a pretty good dinner, with an excellent wine list. Breakfast ok by French standards
