Modern clean room - although a bit tatty in places. Good location for a quick walk for food. It was about the only place we stayed in which provided a kettle, coffee etc.

It was a bit warm in the room, in the summer it will probably be hot. There is no airconditioning. We did not have a problem with it, but when it's middle summer it can be more difficult to get to sleep.

Fantastic choice for breakfast - not seen gluten free cereal in a hotel before.
It’s an ideal location just off the motorway if you’re using the tunnel or ferry. Great value for money.

They charge you for assurance of any damage, this crazy policy I just saw here at this Hotel, I spent my weekends in many others and none of them did it to me, you do not get it if you don't pay at the check in. So... for me: never again!!

Much improved from our last visit. New shower/toilet facility. Much cleaner. Quiet room..
Brit Hotel St-Quentin/Nord is located in the Picardie region, just a 5-minute drive from the A26 motorway and a 10-minute drive from the center of Saint-Quentin.

The staff were wonderfully kind and helpful. And there was home-made cake and jam (three type) at breakfast, which was lovely.

It is a very good place to stay with an affordable price , clean , cozy and the staff were very kind and caring!
We stopped en route from French Alps to Calais. Saint-Quentin had an attractive town centre with impressive buildings, interesting mix of architecture, good cafes and a good shopping centre. The Basilica was breathtaking. I would have liked to stay longer to explore the history of the town and surrounding area.

Lovely old town to walk about and plenty o restaurants although I have to recommend most highly Chez Jean. We had an amazing meal there. We only stay overnight so don't get much chance for sightseeing but the Cathedral is worth a visit,

We booked a room with air conditioning but on arrival after travelling by car from the uk on a very hot day the room didn't have air con. Or a fan.
It was also impossible to communicate with reception since nobody spoke any other language but French.
We didn't stay and at this point there was the option of half refund but I decided to request a full refund so I wrote to the property and booking.com who didn't handle this very well since after a long wait I realized that it had complained to the wrong property.
In the end I didn't get any refund.

Little town, with some charm.
Little town, with some charm.
We have stayed for one night only but we had a good time,
Lots of bars and restaurants near the basilica.
One massive NEGATIVE point is the amount of dog poo all over the city,

A short stopover on the drive back to the UK from Italy. I had a nice evening walk around the area I was staying in and drink/meal in the town square. Plenty to see on the streets, lovely bars on the sqaure and a good choice of restaurants

Odd mix of high end shops and scruffiness.
Odd mix of high end shops and scruffiness. Some good bars but choice of restaurants was not great and the meal we had was overpriced and mediocre. Town is good stopover if you are travelling through France from UK.
Excellent hotel in a great location. We had a one night stopover en route to Calais but couldve easily stayed more. Lovely friendly staff, clean rooms. The breakfast was just right (and served really early which suited us) They even had a few 'beverages' available should you fancy a tipple - and also a water 'bar' with free water if required. Cool bar and restaurant right next door through a yard with excellent food and a really cool vibe. The secure parking was an abslute bonus with a car loaded up to the roof!
The hotel room was clean and the beds comfortable. And great to have an ensuite shower room complete with towels and soap, plus a kettle with tea and coffee. There was a lady on reception when we arrived at 1am who was very helpful.
Our usual stopover would be one of the autoroute hotels like Formule 1, and Le Florence was far superior for a similar price. Excellent value.
THE B&B HOTEL SAINT-QUENTIN is very close to the motorway. The first time we were guests at this hotel it was because of that reason. The personal are so immensely nice that now we time our journey between the mountains and Le Pas-de-Calais where we live to go back and stay at the hotel where we feel like home.
