I've stayed at many Ibis hotels before, but this one was spotlessly clean. The staff were very professional and welcoming and they seem to take a real pride in making a basic hotel perfect. In fact, despite being an "economy" hotel, they put many expensive hotels to shame. The breakfast was excellent, very fresh with a wide choice. Really good fruit juice, great coffee and helpful staff who were really trying hard to get things right. The beds were also comfortable, with good quality bed linen and really nice pillows.

Odd mix of high end shops and scruffiness. Some good bars but choice of restaurants was not great and the meal we had was overpriced and mediocre. Town is good stopover if you are travelling through France from UK.

We loved our stay in the two bed apartment.
We loved our stay in the two bed apartment. Two large bedrooms and the lounge with kitchen was huge! Parking in the courtyard was great and it is a short two minute stroll to the town square with several good restaurants. We took the owners up on their offer of breakfast after they said there was no rush to decide but they just needed to let the bakery know how many croissants etc. 11 euros bought us a fabulous traditional French breakfast. We were joined by Navy the beautiful and very friendly family daschund. Great stay. Beautiful old chateau hotel.

very warm room. Nice to be pet friendly and the location next to the A26 was ideal. After a long journey it was perfect for a well needed sleep before setting off again the next day. The automatic check in means no stress about lateness of arrival. Plenty of shops nearby to visit also. Value for money if you need comfortable sleep.

Lovely town, full of character.
Lovely town, full of character. Easy to explore on foot but allow a few hours at least (we didn't). There seems to be quite a bit of renovation of key sites around the town centre. Would be a good base to explore the Ardennes, visit WW1 battlefield sites and cemeteries and also northern French gothic architecture. We'll be using it as a stopover in the future and leaving more time to enjoy it properly.

Hidden gem for Art Deco lovers….the town council should do more to let this charming town know for its Art Deco treasures….we tried to visit the buffet de la gare but it was closed! And no one told us at the tourist office….despite that we visited a fantastic exhibition about the grandes magazines during the roaring 20!

Stopped en route to the south of France. Large square with a few eating places, and a nice shopping street. Huge church which we didn’t go into. Latish on a Sunday evening not too many places to eat at - but we had a tasty Indian meal at the Rajahstan restaurant.

Wanted somewhere cheap to stay overnight while travelling to the Alps and charge my Tesla. The hotel is 500 metres from a supercharger site in St Quinten. Breakfast was very good and friendly proprietor who was very helpful.The outside looks very worn and under invested but rooms are functional and clean. Quiet location and I slept for 9 hours which is unusual for me ! So, fully refreshed, full stomach and fully charged Tesla !

Alexis is a very nice host on top of the rest. Better than what we had expected and very good value. We intend to go back there if we travel again between Paris and Brussels. Highly recommended!
