Small but very clean room. Bed large and comfortable. Breakfast fine and a big thumbs up for the freshly squeezed orange juice. Wish all hotels had it. Parking good. All in all a great stopover near to the motorway.

Be careful about where you eat, the nearby restaurants are poor by French standards. Do your research first and book somewhere away from the main square. As a dog owner I haven’t seen so much dog faeces left on the pavements etc in any other French town in a long time.

Saint-Quentin was a stopover on our way to Autun, then St Etienne and beyond by car. Therefore, we were more than happy to get a chance to visit the impressive Basilica, and have a very pleasant early evening drink on the terrace in a nearby popular bar. Our hotel was no more than 5 minutes walk from the centre, and getting to and from the motorway was very easy and quick.

I really enjoyed speaking with senior citizens, and heard about how lovely it was to live in such a place in St. Quentin. I have never before encountered a place of sheltered accommodation with a hotel, and i thought it was interesting for travellers and residents alike. We didn’t look at the town, as we were passing through. I intend to return.

We stopped en route from French Alps to Calais.

We stopped en route from French Alps to Calais. Saint-Quentin had an attractive town centre with impressive buildings, interesting mix of architecture, good cafes and a good shopping centre. The Basilica was breathtaking. I would have liked to stay longer to explore the history of the town and surrounding area.

Lovely old town to walk about and plenty o restaurants although I have to recommend most highly Chez Jean. We had an amazing meal there. We only stay overnight so don't get much chance for sightseeing but the Cathedral is worth a visit,

We booked a room with air conditioning but on arrival after travelling by car from the uk on a very hot day the room didn't have air con. Or a fan. It was also impossible to communicate with reception since nobody spoke any other language but French. We didn't stay and at this point there was the option of half refund but I decided to request a full refund so I wrote to the property and booking.com who didn't handle this very well since after a long wait I realized that it had complained to the wrong property. In the end I didn't get any refund.

We stay here often. It's perfect for an overnight stay when travelling through eastern France. It's easy to get to, there's plenty of parking, easy places to eat within a short walk, a cheap fuel station a few minutes away and the hotel has all the services you need. Staff are always good and price is usually at least competitive, and normally good value.

Fabulous apartment right in the middle of St Quentin. Clear access instructions, easy to use and great communication from the host. The apartment is really well equipped with absolutely everything you'd need. Very comfortable beds. Loved it, would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Superb place to stay, I cannot think why you would stay anywhere else in saint quentin! So many little extras in apartment, fab location, quiet at night but close to town and square. Follow their restaurant recommendations as they are the best - especially villa d’Isle.

Second stay at Le Florence which we find to be one of the best spot on our travel from the UK to France. The staff is very friendly, pet friendly and the price is very good. The breakfast also have good options at a good price.
