My wife and I are from Canada, and we spent two weeks travelling around England. We stayed in 8 hotels during out trip, and this is the one we were most disappointed in unfortunately. Pluses included the very reasonable price, and a comfy enough bed. There was a nice little pub and restaurant attached to the rooms as well.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and can't do enough for you. The breakfast is excellent and we had the small plates in the bar which I highly recommend. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and it has a small lift for those of us who don't like the stairs. If you don't want a chain hotel and want to feel you're welcome then this is the place.
