We are regular visitors to Bridlington . Our favourite places are Sewerby and Flamborough .it's great to walk from there into Bridlington along the clifftops. Then get a coffee at The Beach Hut. We went in November so Sewerby Hall wasnt open but the grounds were free to enter , and we'd definitely go back. Bempton RSPB reserve is amazing - friendly and helpful volunteers share sightings , seals were ariound. The cafe and gift shop is good too.
Always loved Bridlington. Haven't been for a few years (6 in total) & It felt as lovely as I can remember. We visited with friends and booked an Italian meal at a place called Leo's on the main road. It was great value for money. The food was amazing! I would highly recommend this. My friend is a vegetarian and they went above & beyond to cater for her needs. Its always handy to have a Wetherspoons close by for the full English breakfast the day after also. We didn't have lunch before travelling home but visited the Lighthouse at Flamborough which again is as beautiful as I remember. Bought some lovely souvenirs from the gift shop. I cannot wait to visit Bridlington/ Flamborough again in 2022. I am only disappointed I waited this long to go back.
My first visit to Bridlington. Lovely seaside town with lots to do and above all, a great beach. The food scene isn't quite on point, yet, compared to some resorts on the south coast or even Whitby, but from what I saw I think it's on the right road in that regard.
It's a proper town, but by the sea. There are plenty of shops, pubs of every type from brew pub to sports bars and plenty of eating options by day. By night early in the week the choice seems more limited. Indian, burger, pizza or Chinese. Limited bus services in the town. Nearby Flamborough Head and Thornwick Bay. Are a must.
This was the first time we had visited Bridligton. The beach and resturants and Fish and chips were very good indeed. You can walk around Bridlington or catch buses or trains to different sea side resorts.
Loved the fact everything you needed was close to hotel. Beach, shops, pubs, bus station. Caught the bus for a day out in Scarborough which was lovely. Bridlington had everything you needed if you didn’t want to travel . Would definitely recommend.
I’ve been here several times now and I’ve not been disappointed. The staff are very good and helpful. The hotel is a little way from the town centre but not too far. Most of the visitors are elderly like me but there are some younger visitors . The food is lovely especially breakfast there’s plenty of choice. Evening meals prices vary. There’s a pub attached belonging to the hotel which can be cheaper.
