A lively town with 2 beaches, amusements, harbour and an old town area. Plenty to suit all tastes. However….. somehow it didn’t always feel very clean….. litter on streets and in the harbour. Too many fish and chip shops and not keen on all the loud noise from the amusements near the North beach.
Lovely east coast seaside town with a working harbour. Nice clean beaches which are dog friendly and have good acccess. Some nice shops and the pubs are lively at night. You will find plenty to do whatever your age and if you can't then Scarborough and Filey are a short train journey away. My only moan is that getting a taxi after 8pm is Nye impossible unless you pre book one. We stayed on the North side of the bay but most of the charecter pubs are in the harbour area which was a good 25 minute walk away. After a day of trekking around Brid a taxi would have been welcome.
Second visit first with alfa travel. Stopped paying inflated, large chaine hotel prices since discoving this little gem of a hotel .the rooms are spotlessly clean , a little dated in places ,food is OK. Definitely not 5 star in appearance but if your looking for a warm welcome, lovely professional staff and a comfortable bed then I would definitely recommend this hotel . I will definitely be booking again ..very soon
Bridlington is a lovely seaside placealways been there as a kid and always took my kids there wen they were little such a lovely place pitty they got rid off paddlingling pool me and my sister love to spend hours in there but they kept the one as is in the far south beach belvedere
Good position clean town good places to eat by and large . Great beach clean sands but again lots of steps . Signage to things like deck chair hire could be better. Altogether a good place for a family holiday
Love everything about bridlington, good market n shops lots to do if you've got children n you don't want to spend all the time in amusements u can buy a net n bait n bucket very cheap n go on to pier n start crabbing it will keep the children entertained for a good few hours n adults too we loved it. There's also lots of food shops on pier also cheap.lots of cafes that do home cooked meals.u can also have lovely beach walks or go for a leisurely walk around the town n see the lovely scenery.i would 100% recommend bridlington to anybody.
Bridlington
I booked to stay here for when I finished cycling The Way of The Roses, and it was just perfect. I was able to securely store my bike, and parking was available for when my hubby arrived. The room was really beautifully furnished and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was an added bonus to have breakfast amenities in the room, along with a fridge, and fresh milk was provided. If I end up in Bridlington again, this will be the first hotel that I try to book.
Absolutely fantastic stay from start to finish. I cannot say in words how lovely the reception staff were, they went above and beyond making a difficult reason for staying (family funeral) a stress free few days. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and would definitely stay again. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless, the bed massive!!! And so comfortable, I slept so well for both nights. Just a lovely experience, thank you.
Bridlington
Great little chalet with lot’s of character and charm, with all the facilities needed squeezed in. The location is what really makes it though, a very short walk from the south shore, 40 minutes walk along the beach to Bridlington), a cracking chippy, shop and cafe (the shop and cafe were closed during our visit, but the chippy made up for that). The site is also nice and quiet, has a great sunrise in the morning and cracking stars at night.
Lovely filling breakfast with plenty of choice. Varied drinks and snacks were available from the bar. The one Dinner I had was tasty - fish and chips followed by a Salted Caramel cheesecake. Room was clean and the bed was made and there were fresh towels everyday. Good to have a kettle in the room. Hotel situated at the quieter end of Bridlington.

The building is a bit tired, and lots of concrete.surrounding the hotel. In the old part of Bridlington and a fair walk from the harbour. Safe parking for the car. However, the rooms were basic, comfortable and very clean. The staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was great. Excellent value for money

Even though the Royal Bridlington Hotel took payment from my bank account on Wednesday, when we turned up on Friday we were told that the hotel had over booked because the hotel had not seen the booking till Thursday evening, how can they say that if they took payment the day before!
