Nestled on 19 acres of gardens and woodland, this 19th century country house provides the ideal base from which to explore the rolling hills and hidden valleys of the Cotswolds. The food was wonderful, the location was beautiful and having the baby lambs was a special treat.
This charming half timber-framed, half Cotswold-stone hotel dates back to the 16th Century when it was a country retreat for the Abbotts of Pershore. The staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel is beautiful, very cosy room, comfortable bed, pleasant atmosphere. We did very much enjoy our stay!
Located in Broadway, next to the Lygon Arms hotel, The Lodge at Broadway offers accommodations with free WiFi. We rented the two-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. It was even better than expected. Kitchen was well equipped with a six-burner gas stovetop and there was a washer/dryer and dishwasher. Dish/laundry soap provided. The housekeeper, Diana, checked in with us every morning to see if there was anything we needed, but otherwise it's a minimal-contact apartment. There's one small flight of carpeted stairs. No a/c but it's very cool in that area so windows were fine (and I sleep hot). The location is superb - we did not have a car, took taxi from train station in Moreton - and we had no trouble finding plenty of restaurants and groceries in walking distance. If you like to hike, the Cotswold Way literally goes past the building. You can take your breakfasts at the adorable cafe next door - Number 32 - and they give a discount for Lodge guests. Broadway is a magnificent gem of a town. Highly recommend.
Featuring a restaurant, bar, shared lounge and free WiFi, Crown and Trumpet Inn is located in Broadway, 3.1 miles from Weston Park and 4.1 miles from Broadway Tower. I'm an american and i love the feel of a British pub. Crown and Trumpet couldn't have been more perfect. Welcoming staff, perfect location, most comfy bed ive ever slept in!
Located in Broadway, Horse & Hound Inn features accommodations with a restaurant and a bar. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Felt like home, very comfy! Breakfast was yum! Very friendly people, beautiful place!
Located 3.7 miles from Weston Park, Staddlestones Broadway provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. We loved our stay. The 2-bedroom apartment was spacious and cosy and had everything we needed for a family with two young children. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has a homely feel and was spotless on arrival. Plenty of towels and pillows and a well-equipped kitchen. Very close to Broadway town with plenty of cafes and pubs for dinner options. We would love to come back!
On average, 3-star hotels in Broadway cost $293 per night, and 4-star hotels in Broadway are $804 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Broadway can be found for $552 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
Broadway attracts many tourists seeking a quick and oven ready 'Cotswold Experience'. If you must go, pick a quiet day. It's popular so plenty of folk must like it more than me. Main reason I visit is because many pleasant longer walks pass through, start or end there. Also the steam train is another nice way to get out of the place!
A really lovely location for a mini break. Lovely staff members at all of the shops and restaurants, in particular Flipside on the high street. Exceptional service and delightful food. Highly recommended.
Broadway is a beautiful place, lots of shops & places to eat. We had a great stay, could have stayed longer. Highly recommend Russell’s as a place to stay, perfect location for everything.Breakfast was lovely in the hotel. Had a great meal at the Indian restaurant at the bottom of the street(opposite the swan hotel).
Great Place, Lots to do. Worth visiting Visit The Cotswold Larder cake shop for fantastic cakes and milk shakes.. my daughters came in a chocolate egg. Good book shop, The Man cave (shop) is also worth a visit Loved it
The B & B is excellent with great hosts who are kind and helpful. From the B & B you have access to various places to visit, such as Burford, Stow on the Wold, Bourton on water. Warwick castle is so worth a visit. You need a whole day at this stunning castle and the bird of prey show was superb !! There are various restaurants/pubs to choose from. We took things very slowly as we wanted to relax, The area surrounding Broadway is lovely and we enjoyed driving around just admiring the country side. Th e B & B was really comfy and we felt at home. We slept very well each night & had a yummy breakfast every morning. We thoroughly recommend staying at Broadway.
Lovely architechture with beautiful golden stone buildings. Lovely artizan and quirky shops. Excellent selection of cafe's and restaurants. We ate at Flipside on The Green, which was fabulous. We were spoilt for choice. Nice church and friendly people. Excellent weekend break with friends.
The location was excellent and we enjoyed our walks into Broadway and around the area. The Lodge was very clean and accommodation and facilities very good for our needs with a comfortable bed. But we did little cooking or preparation making do with pre-cooked food and takeaways despite having microwave, fridge freezer and a full size gas oven and there seemed to be adequate utensils for cooking.
A well located and very attractive property with excellent hosts in Lauren & Andrew, both of whom went out of their way to ensure our stay was most enjoyable. An excellent breakfast started the day in style with a very spacious and comfortable room to come back to at the end of the day.
We liked the location as we used restaurants in nearby Broadway all of which were excellent especially the Indian restaurant. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming we would definitely stay there again, lots to see and do in the area in particular National Trust properties and gardens.
There was a good choice for breakfast - continental and cooked. The evening meal was excellent but both breakfast and the evening meal would have benefited from being hotter. The hotel was busy and was coping very well in a Covid world. The hotel was in a lovely location in Broadway.
BROADWAY IS A PRIME AREA IN ALL THE UK. We liked the terraces and the ability to sit outside for meals due to fab weather--is that a positive for the hotel or the weather? I liked the receptionist. I liked the grounds of the hotel. We were there for two nights not one as repot above.
The room was bright and clean, with lavender sprig accents on towels. I loved the design of bedside tables (though small) and the coffee/tea table. The bathroom was gorgeous and I enjoyed a restful, warm bath! Check in staff (Patricia) was super gracious, responsive and helpful!
We liked the Estates and the exteriors of the hotel. The sheep all around the front part of the estates make this place special! You can have a nice walk within the estates and explore the gardens and the beautiful flowers and plants all around.
Breakfast was excellent as was the customer service. Location is fantastic. Worth a trip to the hook bar at fish Hotel and the broadway tower. Had a great time.
The staff at the Broadway hotel were so attentive & friendly. The hotel is in a great location in Broadway and beautifully decorated to give a relaxing break
Breakfast was amazing, well cooked, well presented, overall excellent. Conveniently situated minutes walk into Broadway.
A lovely property, extremely spacious and perfectly located for walks around the nearby area
I loved so many things about this place: the room was huge and the bed was comfortable; everything was clean; the breakfast was healthy and filling with lots of fresh berries and yogurt in addition to the usual English breakfast; best of all, the hosts were amazing. When I arrived haggard and with a very sore foot after hiking for many many hours, the host made me a refreshing salad so I didn't have to walk back into town. They spend time with their clients and they are lovely people and they have a lovely yard!
We loved our stay. The 2-bedroom apartment was spacious and cosy and had everything we needed for a family with two young children. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has a homely feel and was spotless on arrival. Plenty of towels and pillows and a well-equipped kitchen.
