Located in Cilgerran, 5 miles from Cardigan, Rhosygilwen Courtyard provides a garden and free WiFi. Lovely setting. Booked in for 2 days B&B and for a concert that is held in a venue on site. Rooms were well maintained, plain but stylish decor. Excellent breakfast, with varied choices, charming sevice. They do have an electric car charging point, which they don't mention in the booking material. Will be keeping my eye on future concerts here as the artist I planned to see had sold out her tour local to me, hence my first visit here.
Set in a Georgian mansion, Hammet at Castell Malgwyn is a contemporary country house with river frontage and landscaped gardens. It offers many activities, modern fine dining and free Wi-Fi. Beautiful location , down a long drive, very quiet. Upgraded to bigger room with spacious bathroom, very comfortable bed and the room and facilities were thoughtfully laid out, fresh milk provided once requested, fresh coffee and homemade biscuits.

A very pleasant village with the local pub the Pen y Bryn very friendly, welcoming and excellent food. A good base for access across Pembrokeshire, if you like walking there are many paths you can take.
a good map is essential, The AA directions were not good once we arrived at Cilgerran and it took a while to find the road to the house. we enjoyed the wildlife centre and the woolen mill. We ate in local towns and villages
Cilgerran is a small and friendly community, which has two shops, three pubs and a Chinese take-away. We found that the town of Cardigan was literally 10 minutes by car and offered a good choice of eateries. Cilgerran is an ideal base for trips to Tenby, St. David's, Newquay, Aberystwyth etc.
